On May 29, 2021, at the age of 58, the actor, producer and musician died in a plane crash. Joe Lara, known for his roles in the series “Tarzan: Heroic Adventures” (1996-2000), films "Bomb Man" (1995) "Holographic man" (1995) and many others. I would especially like to note his main role in the fantasy action film “Cyborg: Steel Warrior” (1993) - one of the best “class B” films in the post-apocalyptic genre.
Lara was not a “class A” movie star, but having starred mainly in strong “bangs”, he gained fame as a bright and cinematic actor, capable of embodying both a hero and a villain.
Excellent physical shape, emotionality, naturalness, as well as a rare beauty model appearance with expressive blue eyes, long hair and a courageous strong-willed chin - these are Lara’s calling cards.
In the early 2000s, he left his acting career to devote himself to another of his talents - country music.
On May 29, a plane belonging to the church of his wife, Gwen Shamblin, crashed into Percy Priest Lake, resulting in no survivors. On board, besides Lara himself, there were six more people, including his wife Gwen.
According to preliminary data, the crew had problems with a license to fly such an aircraft and lacked the necessary experience.
Rest in peace, Joe.
I am waiting. I hope there will be something exciting.
I would like to mention Pasha as a person who has been an active participant in this project since…
Sad ending, albeit with a joke...
Added a video from the filming of "Twilight of the Warriors".
