Famous Chinese actor Yu Rongguang (Aka Ringo Yu) may be known to fans of action films for the role of the “evil” trainer from the remake "The Karate Kid" starring Jackie Chan. However, Rongguang has more than 20 years of film career behind him. But Yu works not only in the acting field. He is the director of TV series ("Saga of the Mu Clan", "Battle-Torn Blue of Heaven"), and a feature-length drama "School bus" (2013). But a new film by Ringo Yu is on the horizon.
It's about a boxing drama "The Invisible Fist" (Invisible Fist), the script for which was written by Rongguang himself.
The plot tells the story of an elderly coach who finds in the young man Yusheng the enormous potential of a future boxing champion. But everything is not so simple: the boy was born disabled, and his father is extremely against his son engaging in such a dangerous sport.
Besides Yu Rongguang, who played the role of the coach, played the second main role in the film Rexen Cheng (“Handan”, “Nina Wu”), and the rest of the caste are Gina Jin ("Mr. Pride vs. Miss Prejudice") Dean Liu (“Special Rapid Reaction Squad”) and Chang Rong ("Shanghai Carrier").

The main on-screen duet was embodied by actresses Svetlana Hodchenkova (“Warrior”, “Viking”, “Hero”) and Stasya Miloslavskaya (“Box”, “Bull”). The remaining roles are: Sergei Puskepalis ("Odessa Steamship"), Alexey Barabash (“What Men Talk About: Continued”), Eugene Syty (“Chernobyl: Exclusion Zone. Finale”) and other actors.

Yes, yes, this project went unnoticed against the backdrop of news about restart movie franchises Mortal Kombat. And yet the project called "Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge" (Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpions Revenge) is a full-length cartoon that is also intended to restart the series, but this time in animated format.
Cartoons in the MK universe are not new. A full-length cartoon was released in 1995 "Mortal Kombat: The Journey Begins", and a little later an animated series was released "Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Earth" (1995-1996).
The new cartoon's general producer is again Ed Boon – the person who created the game universe Mortal Kombat. The director of the film is listed Ethan Spaulding, who has previously worked on projects such as "Avatar: The Legend of Aang" (2004-2008), "Batman: Assault on Arkham" (2014) "Freedom Fighters: The Beam" (2018) and franchise "Scooby-Doo".
