After several fantastic short films and working on scripts for various niche films like "Killer Karate", American filmmaker Dallas King decided to make his feature-length debut.
It was an independent thriller with elements of a sports drama under the simple title "Smack-Smack" (Kiss Kiss), for which King himself wrote the script. The film company helped with the filming process Red Rabbit Pictures. The film was shot back in 2017, but due to difficulties with post-production, Kiss Kiss just released now.
The film follows three friends, Kiss, Treasure and Country, who, after a glorious night at a strip club, go on an exclusive wine tasting with the establishment's new employee, Tia. However, the girls are drugged and they find themselves in underground battles, which are organized by special forces veteran Gibson. Yesterday's strippers have to fight for survival.
The main role in the thriller was played by the actress and stuntwoman Natasha Hopkins (“Shop Cop”, “Voice of the Streets”, “Street Fighter: Resurrection”), the rest of the cast is filled by: Tamra Dae ("Paint and Ink"), Janey Bolina (TV series "Tosh O"), Natalia Castellon (TV series "Westworld") and Robert Matthew Wagner ("Parts of the Disease").
Release "Smack-Smack" will take place on DVDs 14 May 2019 years.

We want to finish today’s selection with a non-standard project. First of all, this is a Hollywood film. Secondly, this is a terrible cross between several genres at once: sports drama, comedy and the “karate kid” subgenre, well-known in narrow circles, which was once discussed on our website interesting selection.
The film is called "The Art of Self-Defense" (The Art of Self-Defense) and is the director’s second full-length project Riley Stearns, which was previously noted for its crime comedy "Flaws" (2014). He also wrote the script for “Art”.
