Trailers for the series "Cobra Kai", "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" and "Circuit"

A trailer for one of the most anticipated series on our topic has appeared online - the third season of the drama. "Cobra Kai", who "moved" from YouTube to the platform Netflix, which made it possible to expand the budget and invite actors from the original trilogy to the cast "Karate Kid". But first things first.

The finale of the second season left fans of the series with their mouths open, and we (the FFI editors really love this project) were worried when the series lost the site broadcasting and was looking for a new one. It's good that the bosses Netflix took the project for themselves.

The stories of Johnny Lawrence, Daniel La Russo, John Kreese and their students will continue, and judging by the trailer, no less exciting and dramatic events await us.

The main roles are still assigned to the stars of the original “The Karate Kid” - William Zabka, Ralph Macchio и Martin Cove.

The main roles of teenagers remained Jolo Maridueño (TV series “Especially Serious Crimes”), Tanner Buchanan (TV series "Grey's Anatomy") Mary Mathilin Mauser (TV series "Lie to Me") Jacob Bertrand (“Ready Player One”) and others.

It is curious that of the actors from the old trilogy in the new season "Cobra Kai" have returned Yuji Okumoto (“The Game”, “Pearl Harbor”) and Elizabeth Shue (“Back to the Future 2”, TV series “The Boys”).

Traditionally, all episodes of the series will appear on the Netflix streaming service already January 3 2021 years.

Most recently, trailers for three mini-series from the Marvel Cinematic Universe line appeared online: "Wanda/Vision", "Loki" и "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier). The latter is precisely what is interesting to us for its action component and hand-to-hand combat, which these two characters always had in abundance.

The main showrunner and director of the episodes was Kari Skogland (series “The Punisher”, “The Handmaid’s Tale”, “Condor”, “Rook” and others).

Synopsis: Sam Wilson takes on the suit of the new Captain America and tries to cope with the mission entrusted to him by Steve Rogers. Bucky, in turn, is ready to become part of society again and get to know everything that the modern world has to offer.

Returned to their roles from the cinematic universe Anthony Mackie ("Living Steel") and Sebastian Stan (“Tonya against everyone”). In other roles Daniel Brühl ("Inglourious Basterds"), Miki Ishikawa (TV series "NCIS: Los Angeles") Desmond Chime (TV series "Hawaii Five-5.0"), former MMA champion Georges St-Pierre (“Kickboxer: Retribution”) and others.

Wrote the script for all episodes Derek Costald (John Wick franchise), and in the camp of doubles and stuntmen we are familiar Arnold Chon и Aaron Toney, who doubles for Maki.

All six episodes of the series will appear in 2021 on the channel Disney +However, the exact date has not yet been announced. But the trailer is good.

We’d like to finish today’s selection with a more budget-friendly project – a series based on the DTV trilogy "Vortex" director's tandem Jalala Merhi and ex-kickboxing champion and actor Olivier Gruner.

To be more precise, a mini-series "Vortex" (The Circuit) will tell the story of the same character, but several years after the events of the third film in 2006. Gruner has teamed up again with martial artist, producer, actor and director Jalalom Merhi (duology “Eagle Claws”, “Cop 2000”).

The series follows former underworld pugilist Dirk Longstreet as he tries to deal with the demons of his past while helping new friends along the way.

Besides Olivier Gruner (“Nemesis”, “Kumite”, “Showdown in Manila”) the following took part in the series: Eric Roberts ("The Expendables") Richard Tyson ("Black Hawk"), Patrick Kilpatrick ("Never give up"), Luke Gregory Crosby (“Astro”) and martial artist, trainer and actor Billy Blanks (“Cool and Deadly,” “2000 Cop”), whose last film dates back to 2015, when he played a sheriff in a horror film "Dark Moon Rising".

All four episodes of the series should be released in the first decade of 2021 on one of the US cable channels. But neither the exact premiere date nor the release site has been announced yet. But there is a trailer.
