We already wrote about the independent sci-fi action movie. "Advanced" director James Mark, who is a martial arts practitioner and works as a stuntman on various projects. Then we talked about the fact that the film should become part of the program of the Toronto Film Festival, but now the action film is ready to “show itself” to the mass audience.
Let us remind you that Mark’s new film (“On the Ropes”) is a direct continuation of his own science-fiction action film "Order: Kill" (2017) about people who were experimented on by the government to create super-soldiers. In the sequel, such improved people try to live in the silence of the forest and “not show up” until a special squad appears that must catch and capture the most gifted girl of all mutants.
The main role in the film was played by James' brother - Chris Mark (“Order: Kill,” TV series “Future Man”). Other roles include: George Devil ("Big game"), Allanna Bale (TV series "Coroner") Adrian Holmes ("Skyscraper"), Alex Chung (“Contracts”) and Alain Moussi (dilogy “Kickboxer”, “Jiu-Jitsu”).

Let us remind our readers about another long-announced Indian project - a fantastic action film called "Lazarus" director R.L. Scott, who is well known in the independent action film scene for works such as "The Champion's Path" и "Call Me King".

The plot will tell the story of former policeman Ray, and now a street fighter against injustice in a city where there is always some scoundrel. When the main character crosses the path of serious people, he is killed. But Ray does not die, having mysteriously received superpowers. Now the hero calls himself Lazarus and is going to destroy criminals with redoubled force.
The main role in the action film was played by the producer and actor Sean Riggs (“Brotherhood of the Dance”, “Branded”), and his company consists of: Costas Mandylor ("Saw 4"), Shane Brawley ("Another world"), Andre McCoy (“Universal Soldier 4”) and other actors.
The main character's understudy is someone we know well Jay Kwon, and among the familiar names in the stunt team camp is Mark Poletti.

We are talking about a German-British action comedy "Jack Walker" (Jack Walker) writer and director of short films Tanay Genko Ulgena (“Mask”, “Messenger”). By the way, Möller is also the film’s producer, sharing this responsibility with a famous filmmaker and journalist Mike Leader ("Fist of Legend", "Fearless").
"Jack Walker" explores the topic of filming a low-budget hand-to-hand action film, from the point of view of comedy and satire, showing all the problems of the filming process of such a film. To increase attention to their product, savvy producers hire former action star Jack Walker, whose idea of filming action films dates back to the 90s. The filming process is extremely dull, but everything changes dramatically when drug dealers running away from the police take the group hostage.
The main role went to a German stuntman, fitness trainer and actor Stefan Morawitz (“King of Wrestlers”, “Ip Man 2”, “Street Fighter”). Besides Mike Moeller (“Web of Lies”, “Street Fighter”, “A Million Blows”, “Final Judgment”) took part in this comedy action film: Denis Lyons (TV series "Carnival Row") Katrin Höhne (“Mercenary Agency”), Steffen Jung (“Final verdict”) and others.
The hand-to-hand choreography was, of course, done by Möller himself.

Of this, I’ll just watch “Jack”, if I don’t forget. The trailer, to be honest, is not that special, but in principle something interesting can be done with such a plot.
Again, it’s a pity that Möller acts so little - he’s still in amazing shape, unlike his old self... Stop, stop! How many? Is he really only 26?! Exactly?! I’ve seen him sometimes in films for about 10 years now.

Cool. I barely googled his real(?) date of birth in 1975. But, at least, it is more credible than the one indicated on the film search in 1994. And for 46 years old, he looks in very, very good shape, no match for most of his peers.
