Rumors about a sequel to Michael Jai White's cult action comedy "Black Dynamite", which satirizes the 70s blaxploitation genre, has been circulating online for a long time. In January White confirmedthat the second Black Dynamite film will appear in 2018. And then... the trailer appeared.
The new comedy, this time making fun of the Western genre, is a “spiritual continuation” of “Dynamite” and is called The Outlaw Johnny Black, which can be translated as "Johnny Black Outlaw". The upcoming comedy western is the brainchild of Michael Jai White's own production studio. Jaigantic Studios. Apparently, White himself is in the director's chair. He also wrote the script together with Byron Minns.
The film is about a runaway slave who becomes a tough shooter who is forced to hide from justice. But fate brings him together with a priest, whose place Johnny Black takes in a small town. However, Black will soon have to decide for himself whose side he is on and whether he will find the strength to protect the town from the invasion of bandits.
Besides Michael Jai White (“Never Give Up 2-3”), the film featured: Martin Cove (“The Karate Kid”), UFC star Josh Barnett ("Never Give Up 3"), Byron Minns ("Black Dynamite") Kim Whitley (“Scammers Dick and Jane”) and other actors.
For a more successful release of the western, White launched a company on a crowdfunding platform IndieGoGo, but the company did not reach the stated amount. However, the filmmakers are still talking about a 2018 release. There is no exact date, but there is a trailer. We offer it for viewing.
The next film in today's selection is also a Western in genre. But unlike "Johnny Black", in a film called Buffalo Boys (Russian official name - "Cowboys") much more attention is paid to martial arts.

The synopsis of the film is as follows: the times of the Dutch occupation of Indonesia. Two brothers, who grew up far from home, return to their hometown to avenge the murder of their father.

We would like to finish the selection with a film produced in Germany called "Snowflake" (Snowflake) which is helmed by two directors: Adolfo Colmerer (TV series "Unplugged") and William James, who previously worked exclusively as an editor.
"Snowflake" is a wild mixture of crime thriller, fantasy and comedy, seasoned with hand-to-hand combat. The company is distributing the film Raven Banner, which describes Snowflake as a cross between Quentin Tarantino and the Coen brothers.
The film tells the story of two dentists who find a script about two guys who dream of avenging the death of their parents against a certain street gang in the setting of near-future Berlin. However, as the showdown progresses, the most ridiculous characters are woven into the plot: fairy-tale villains, crazy killer maniacs, a fallen angel and many others. And what a surprise the dentists were when everything that is written in this script begins to happen to them in real life.
