Joint project "white hope of action cinema" Scott Adkins and Chinese action film actor Andy Ona "Abduction" (Abduction) wasn't exactly expected. “Abduction”, if you don’t expect anything from it (including cool special effects), then it looks quite nice. The plot is quite well twisted, a separate plus is the almost King motif of the “bad place” (the sudden dude with a fish in his teeth was especially amusing, very on topic).
If we talk about issues relevant to the site, then almost all the fights are staged in an interesting way. Scott Adkins and Andy On shine equally. I’ll watch the action scenes from there sometime online.
Scott Adkins once again proved himself to be an outstanding actor - the episodes with memory loss and speech impairment were played perfectly.
In short, it was kind of like a movie for one evening, but I watched it not without pleasure.

Agree with you. A similar opinion - like the special effects are cheap, but for some reason it was interesting to watch, even when closer to the climax the explanations about all this fantasy begin, you don’t think it’s some kind of funny nonsense - all the actors perform in such a way that you believe and watch what happens next. In fact, there simply wasn’t enough money, but everything was fine. The rating on IMDB is still 6,6 - and this is from a film that no one expected. ,
