Trailers for the films "Bad Boys: The Movie", "Breaking Boxer" and "Phantom Move"

Well, it's all lyrics, friends. Today's selection of trailers is dedicated to South Korean cinema. And the first on the list is a crime thriller "Bad Boys The Movie" (Bad Guys: The Movie). Why does the action movie have such a postscript, you ask? The fact is that this film is, as it were, a kind of “result” of a series popular in South Korea "Bad Boys" (2014-2017), so almost the entire cast of the original returned to their roles.

The director of the film is listed Son Young-ho, who had previously only directed a crime thriller "Request for Murder" (2015)

Synopsis: While transporting dangerous criminals, a prison bus gets into an accident and the prisoners escape. A police detective with dubious morals believes that it is necessary to fight evil using his own methods - the right people are pulled out from behind bars, and now a team consisting of those convicted of various criminal cases is set to investigate.

The leading role went to the charismatic actor Ma Dong-seok (“Crime City”, “Champion”, “Train to Busan”), and his company consists of: Kang Sang-joon (TV series "City Hungter"), Kim Ah-joon ("Catch me"), Jang Ki-young (TV series "Kill") and other actors.

The film opened at the box office in its homeland 11 September 2019 years.

The next project is called "Battered Boxer" (My Punch-Drunk Boxer) and is a boxing drama directed and written by Jeon Hyuk-ki, who was previously an actor (“King of the Border”), and now realizes himself from other creative sides. My Punch-Drunk Boxer will be his full-length directorial debut.

The plot of the film will tell the story of Pyeong-gu, who once showed great promise in professional boxing. But a fatal mistake cost him both his career and his health - doctors find that Pyong-gu has so-called “boxer’s dementia.” Working as a support worker in the gym, the guy dreams of returning to the ring, but to do this he will have to invent a unique fighting style in order to use his body’s shortcomings in battle.

The leading role was played by the rising star of South Korean cinema Eom Tae-gu (“Veteran”, “Taxi Driver”, “The Great Battle”). The rest of the cast is filled out by: actress Harry ("Monstrum"), Kim Hee-won ("Royal Book of Inquiries"), Choi Joon-young (“Music Album”) and others.

The film should appear in theaters in October 2019, but the creators of the exact premiere date sports drama not yet called.

Let's finish today's selection with a spin-off of the 2014 hit "Divine Move" director Jo Byung-gu, which brightly, colorfully and very hooliganly told a crime story that revolved around the famous board game "Go".

The new film has a subtitle "Ghost Move" (The Divine Move: Ghost Move) and is the brainchild of another director - a Chinese Lee Gon, for which this film became the debut.

Those who watched the first film probably wondered about the origin of the mysterious character, whom the main characters of the original dubbed “God Go”. "Ghost Move" aims to answer all the questions that have arisen, twisting a swashbuckling plot with a game of Go, shootouts and hand-to-hand combat around this character.

The main role went to the actor Kwon Sang-woo (duology “Detective by Chance”), the rest of the ensemble includes: Kim Hee-won ("Nowhere Man"), Heo Song-tae ("Crime City"), Woo Do-hwan ("Divine Fury") Jung In-kyung (“The Great Battle”) and others.

"Ghost Move" should go to all cinemas in South Korea in November 2019, but no one has announced an exact date yet. All we can do is wait and watch the trailer.
