Indonesian martial artist, producer, screenwriter and director Asun Mawardi, which may be familiar to fans of action films with such action films as "Pirate Brothers" (2011) with Robin Shue and "# 66" (2016) prepared a new project called "Once Upon a Time in Indonesia" (Once Upon A Time In Indonesia).
The production process was taken over by Mawardi Studio CreativeMotion Pictures, and Asun himself is responsible for the script.
The film follows Max, the son of a criminal, as he tries to escape the toxic environment of the neighborhood in which he lives. But the kind-hearted Max always helps his troubled friend Leo, who always gets into some kind of trouble. At one of these moments, big money falls into the hands of friends, which serious people are hunting for. Now Max and Leo are being hunted by residents of their home area, and even their neighbor in the stairwell can become a deadly rival.
The main roles were played by Frankie Darmawan (short film "#66: Consequences of Actions") and Tigor Dzhaitov ("Pariban").
The film should appear before the end of 2019, but the exact release date is still unknown. But there is a trailer for a hand-to-hand action movie.
We have already seen an action movie from Egypt, in which special attention is paid to hand-to-hand combat. We're talking about the movie, of course. "War in Karmuz" with Scott Adkins as the main villain. But now the Egyptian film industry can boast of another action movie starring a Western star.
Film "Pharaoh's War" (Pharaoh's War) is a project directed by Raufa Adb-Elaziz and is positioned as "Egyptian Expendables".
There is, apparently, not a cast of cult personalities for the genre, but a plot related to a free team of mercenaries who get into some kind of trouble.
The Western star we mentioned above is a boxing legend and now an actor Mike Tyson ("Ip Man 3", "Chinese Salesman"). There's also a big guy in the movie Hafthor Bjornson (TV series "Game of Thrones", "Kickboxer Returns"), and the main role went to Amr Saad ("Potato Fiction"). Also filling the cast is an Egyptian bodybuilder Big Ramy and pop stars Ruby и Mohamed Lotfi.
The film is expected to be released in 2019, but the premiere date is still unknown.
Let's finish today's selection of trailers with a new film by a South Korean director Lee Soo-sung ("Memories", "Car Crash") entitled "On my own" (On Your Own).
Soo-sung continues to explore the topic of bullying in schools. In general, his trilogy talks about this "Badass" (2018-2019), but the new film pays more attention to hand-to-hand combat scenes.
Synopsis: This is a story about students who are forced to learn self-defense in order to fight off an evil youth gang led by a real sadist.
The following took part in the film: Lee Hyun-woo ("Beauty inside"), Song Min-young (“Spring, summer, autumn, winter.. and spring again”), Chu Won-tak, Go Ran-young and other actors.
Movie release date "On my own" - 5 June 2019 year.

The film is not bad, but the recent "City Hungter" is better in terms of action.
To be honest, there is no particular principle... when there is more time, an “old man” is added, when there is less time...
Not a bad idea. But I don’t understand something, on what basis are profiles added? And legends...
