South Korean filmmakers have been really playing out lately, releasing one hand-to-hand film after another. Basically, of course, such films are made strictly for TV or direct-to-video and for some reason often concern crime plots or the setting of a country occupied by Japan. We recently published a whole selection trailers for such films.
Well: the regiment has arrived. We are talking about a film with a simple title "King of Fighters" (The King Of Fighters) writer and director Ko Hoon (“Paper Flower”, “Mom”).
The genre of the film is a historical crime thriller about the life of Kim Doo-han, the prototype of which is the real-life criminal figure Gu Ma-Jek, who shared all spheres of influence in post-war Joseon during the period later called by historians the “Era of Wild People”.
The main roles in the film were played by Wu Gang-min ("Gangster, Cop, Devil", "Lucky Monster") and Lee Kyu-hyun ("Faceless Boss")

Let's finish today's selection of South Korean action films with a comedy action film "Hitman" (Hit Man).
The film has a much more substantial financial injection than the previous two films, and the director "Hitman" is Choi Won-seop ("My Burning Heart"). He also wrote the script for the film.
The story will unfold around a former national security agent who successfully retired and started doing what he really always dreamed of - he started drawing comics. However, the main character doesn’t just get stories and he begins to adapt his own stories from the past into comics.
Main role in "Hitman" played by the star of the duology "Detective by Chance" (2015, 2018) and hand-to-hand thriller "Ghost Move" - Kwon Sang-woo, and they kept him company Cho Joon-ho ("Iris") Lee Yi-kyung ("Monsters"), Bae Jin-woong ("Crime City"), Lee Ji-won (“Girl of Go”) and other actors.
