Star of last year's historical action movie from South Korea "Sword master" by name Chan Hyuk before the end of 2021 he will appear in another cool action movie.
It's a crime thriller "Kanyn" (Gangneung) writer and director Yuna Young-bin, for whom Hyuk's new film became his debut.
Synopsis: The boss of the largest criminal gang in Gangneung plans to build the largest resort in Asia there. His confidant Gil-sook leads a comfortable life, following orders from his superiors every day, without even thinking about betraying him. On the other hand, Min-sook, a young gangster from Seoul with intelligence and ambition, also decides to go into the resort business, which, of course, will pit two criminal gangs against each other.
Company Jang Hyuk ("Gust of Wind") is Yoo Oh-sung (“Great Battle”), and the rest of the caste includes: Oh Dae-hwan (“Deliver us from evil”), Lee Hyun-gyun ("Intelligence service"), Shin Seung-hwan (“Golden Vacation”) and others.
"Kanyn" will be released in its home country November 17 2021 years.
The next project from South Korea that we paid attention to is a new crime thriller from Ma Dong-seok (Aka Don Lee), whom we are always very pleased to see on screen.
Moreover, Dong-seok's new film is not just an action film, but a sequel to the successful 2017 police thriller "Crime City", which was based on real events.
There is a new name in the director's chair - Lee Sang-young, who previously only directed a teen thriller "The Mystery of the Fourth Lesson" (2009). By the way, he is also responsible for the script of the second part. "Crime City".
There is no official synopsis for the sequel yet, but, apparently, the second part will continue the story of the stern head of the investigative team, Ma Seok-to, who, by hook or by crook, maintains a fragile peace in the Chinese criminal area of Seoul.
Besides Ma Dong-seok (“Train to Busan”, “A Gangster, a Cop and the Devil”, “The Eternals”) almost the entire team returned to their roles from the first film Choi Gwi-hwa ("Wonderful Ghost") Yoon Byung-hee (“My girlfriend is a special agent”), Park Chi-hwan (“Achieve Sincerity”). Among the newcomers, a seasoned actor appeared on the list Song Seok-gu (TV series "Doctor Brain"), who should become the main antagonist of the action film.
"Crime City 2" should appear in theaters in 2022, but the exact premiere date has not yet been announced. But there is a teaser in which Don Lee scatters the extras.

Ji-myung's new film is called "Hot blood" (Hot Blood) and will tell the story of three friends - professional taekwondo fighters who see their future in sports competitions in the ring. But they have to put aside their dreams of big-time sports, as they have to stand up for their own residential area, which local bandits are going to remodel.
The main roles in the film went to the actors Lee Jong-hyun ("Shark: The Beginning"), Choi Jae-hyun ("Avenger") and Jun Sun-ho (“Special Agent”).
Unfortunately, it is not yet known when and on what platform the film will be available to mass audiences. But from the teaser, in principle, you can understand that "Hot Blood" we are waiting.
