American actor Andrew Lawrence (TV series “Castle”, “Bones”, “Hawaii Five.5.0”) made his directorial debut entitled "Money Plane" (Money Plane), for which he wrote the script and also played one of the roles.
The leading role in this action movie went to the former wrestler, WWE star Adam Copeland (Edge), who, by the way, retrained as an actor quite a long time ago (TV series “Secrets of Haven”, “Vikings”).
Synopsis: a professional thief, who managed to accumulate debts of 40 million dollars, is forced to assemble a team for his most important and important robbery of a casino, which is located on board a futuristic plane. The matter is complicated by the fact that the mafia, to which the main character is in debt, takes his family hostage.
Besides Adam Copeland and himself Andrew Lawrence, the film featured Hollywood actors who, unfortunately, have been out of print for a long time: Denise Richards ("Starship Troopers") Thomas Jane ("The Thin Red Line") Kelsey Grammer (“X-Men: The Last Stand”) and others.
On Video on Demand services "Money Plane" will appear July 10, 2020. We invite you to check out the trailer.
Мы already wrote about sports drama "American Fighter", which continues the story of the main character from the 2016 film "American Wrestler: The Wizard", but then the film was just starting its film festival run. But now the release date has been announced and on this occasion, a new trailer has been released.
Recall that "American Fighter" is a feature-length directorial debut Shauna Paula Picinino.
The plot tells the story of Iranian refugee Ali Jahani, who became a famous fighter in a small Californian town. But now Ali will have to fight in illegal fights, because only there can he earn enough money to get his parents out of the territory of revolutionary Iran in the setting of the early 80s.
Played the main role George Kosturos ("Feral"). The rest of the ensemble includes: Sean Patrick Flanery ("The Boondock Saints") Tommy Flanagan (TV series "Wu Assassins"), Christina Moore (TV series “True Blood”) and others.
Company Signature Entertainment will have a limited release of the film in the UK from July 20, 2020.
This December will mark 44 years since the release of the legendary boxing drama in many ways. "Rocky", which was literally carried by the then little-known actor and screenwriter Sylvester Stallone. On this occasion the company Virgil Films released a documentary called "40 Years of Rocky: Birth of a Classic" (40 Years Of Rocky: The Birth Of A Classic).
In the film, Stallone talks about how a low-budget 1976 film could become one of the most inspiring films in cinema history. The documentary used footage from home movies provided by Sly himself, director John G. Avildsen and producer Lloyd Kaufman. The second leading actor will also talk about his impressions Karl Weathers.
Interestingly, the documentary has two versions: North American and international. Both can already be viewed on Video on Demand, Google Play, iTunes / AppleTV and Amazon.
