It happens that Western distributors like films shot in China specifically for online cinemas so much that they prepare Western releases. And it happens that such projects come as a “trailer” to other, more serious films.
Be that as it may, the distribution company Well Go USA announced the Western release of last year's online Chinese hit called "The Legend of Lu Bo". As the title suggests, the film's genre is epic wuxia. However, in the Western release the film was called "God of War 2", although, of course, nothing to do with historical action movie 2017 years old Vincent Zhao, Sammo Hoon и Yasuaki Kuratoi he does not have leading roles.

There are too many cardboard, overly pretentious Chinese action films, it’s difficult to watch them only because of the combat, and the plots are schizophrenic. And the combat is boring and uninteresting. And the wave of practically the same type of low-budget wuxia is completely depressing. Neither Doni nor Jackie (and Chan, and Wu) are taken out anymore, and there is nothing to say about the young ones. :(
