Famous South Korean director and screenwriter Kim Han-min known for his thrillers "Destroyed Paradise" (2007) and "Cellular" (2009) and historical epics "Arrow. "The Ultimate Weapon" (2011) and "Battle of Myeongryang" (2014). We'll talk about the sequel to the latter.
In general, Han-min planned a trilogy that combines events during the war with the Japanese and major famous battles. Kim's second film is called "Battle of Hansan Island" (Hansan: Emergence Of Dragon) and will tell about a historical battle on the water.
Synopsis: August 15, 1592, Imjin War. The Joseon fleet, led by Admiral Yi Sunsin, battles the Japanese naval forces off Hansan Island. The main warship then became the so-called “Turtle Frigate”.

After the success of a cool action movie "Villain" (2017), from a former stuntman and now director Jung Byung-gil many action fans were waiting for a new project. And they waited.
Director in collaboration with streaming giant Netflix releases an action movie with a laconic title "Carter". It is curious that the upcoming film is being presented as a film shot with the effect of one take (frame), as was the case with last year "One Shot" Adkins.
Synopsis: a man comes to his senses and cannot remember anything from his past, not even his own name. He receives a call - a mysterious voice calls him Carter and tells him that there is a bomb in it that will explode if the guy does not follow the instructions. Carter has to go on a dangerous mission, while hiding from the intelligence services.
Played the main role in the action movie Choo Won (“Catch Me”, “King of Fashion”, “It’s Him”), and he is accompanied by Lee Sung-jae (“Attack the gas stations!”), Jeon So-ri ("On the Way to Heaven") Andreas Fronk ("First Clone"), young Kim Bo-min (“Twisted House”) and other actors.
On the platform Netflix the film will appear 5 August 2022 year. The trailer looks really cool!
We are also expecting a new urban action film from the creative tandem of the director. Choi Jae-hoon and actor Chan Hyuk called "Killer: The Girl Shouldn't Die" (The Killer).
From these two we already got an excellent historical action movie "Sword master", who took first place in its category as part of a project to sum up the results of action films for 2020.
The tandem's new film will tell the story of the assassin Ban Yu-gan who decided to retire. He has everything he needs for a carefree life, but one day his girlfriend goes on vacation to Jeju Island and asks Ban to look after the 17-year-old daughter of his colleague Yoon-ji. She's a good girl, but she makes the wrong choice and ends up being captured by criminals. However, Yu-gan is determined to bring her home.
Besides Chan Hyuk (“Gust of Wind”, “Client”), the film featured: Lee Seung-joon ("Battle of Myeongryang") Ban Eun-jeong (TV series “My Neighbor Kumiko”), young debutante Lee So-yeon and martial artist, stuntman and action director Bruce Khan ("Avenger").
Unfortunately, "Killer" does not yet have a theatrical release date, with April 23 2022 years walking around film festivals. But we are really looking forward to the film. Even from the presented teaser it can become clear why.

Yes, you need to watch Carter and Killer!
By the way, “Killer” is also great! Ten John Wicks out of ten! Well, at least nine and a half, but to be honest, I liked it much more than the first Wick.
“Carter” was filmed simply amazing! I’m still twenty minutes into the film - and I’m already giving it a solid excellent! The coolest camera work with mind-blowing angles, very good (no more than that) action and buckets of blood! Not to say it’s an event, but quite a breath of fresh air in the genre.
Physics and logic, of course, died in terrible convulsions, but the ingenuity of the camera work is my admiration!
