A trailer for an expected Hollywood project called "Boy Kills the World" (Boy Kills World).
Мы already wrote about this director's film Morica Mora (TV series “Viva, Berlin!”) according to the script Renting Remmers ("Sloeborn: Epidemic on the Island") and Tyler Burton Smith ("Children's Games"). The film was produced by the legendary Sam Raimi (Evil Dead franchise, Spider-Man trilogy).
The film is set in a bizarre, dystopian world and centers around a deaf and mute character named Boy. Tragedy strikes when Boy's family is brutally murdered. The hero himself runs away into the forest jungle, for which he begins to hate himself and hatches a plan for revenge. In the jungle, he meets a shaman who takes Boy as his apprentice and harshly trains him in martial arts, encouraging him to leave his youth behind and take up the baton as a well-trained assassin to take revenge on the family's murderers.
Played the main role Bill Skarsgard (“It”, “John Wick 4”), the role of his teacher was played by the master of silat Yayan Ruhian (the “Raid” duology), the rest of the ensemble cast includes: Jessica Rothe ("La La Land") Famke Jansen (X-Men trilogy), Sharlto Copley (“District No. 9”), Andrew Koji (TV series "Warrior") Isaiah Mustafa ("It 2") Brett Gelman ("Heavy Metal Gods") Michelle Dockery (“Gentlemen”) and others.
The action design and fight choreography in the film is led by a Polish martial artist David Jatarski (“Akimbo Guns”, “Max Cloud”, “Black Widow”).
"Boy Kills the World" should go into theaters in 2024, but the exact premiere date is still unknown.
Fans of a very good series about professional wrestling called "Heelas" (Heels) waited until the second season.
The story continues around brothers Jack and Ace, who fight tooth and nail to preserve the legacy their father created when he created the wrestling promotion business. In Season 2, after DWL's hugely successful appearance at the South Georgia State Wrestling Festival, Ace is unable to cope with what Jack told him in the ring. He runs away from Daffy, leaving his brother to reflect on the tragedy of their father's death and how Jack helped Ace get into the ring in the first place.
The main roles still belong to Stephen Amell (TV series "Arrow") and Alexander Ludwig (TV series “Vikings”), returned to their roles Kelly Berglund ("Night shift"), Mary McCormack ("1408"), Alison Luff (TV series “New Amsterdam”) and others. Notable newcomers have emerged as wrestling stars Phil Brooks (CM Punk) and AJ Mendez (AJ Lee).
On the streaming platform Starz second season "Khilov" kicked off July 28, 2023.
Let's finish today's selection with trailers for the series based on the cult series of Japanese comics. "The Big Jackpot" (One Piece) by Eichiro Oda.
Let us remember that the manga and its animated adaptation have become a real hit all over the world. The adaptation script was written by several people: Tom Hindman (animated series "Harvey Queen") Stephen Maeda (TV series "The X-Files"), Ian Stokes (TV series "Warehouse 13"), Matt Owens (TV series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."), Laura Jacquemin (TV series "Get Shorty") and Damani Johnson (animated series "Star Wars: The Bad Batch").
Synopsis: A desperate young captain with a troubled past recruits a crew and sets out on a journey to claim the title of Pirate King and find the mythical treasure of One Piece.
The main roles in the series were played by Iñaki Godoy (TV series "Minors"), Makenyu Arata (“Vagabond Kenshin: Endgame”, “Knights of the Zodiac”), Emily Rudd (TV series "Dynasty"), Jacob Gibson (TV series "Grey's Anatomy") and Taz Skylar (TV series “The Lazarus Project”). The rest of the caste includes: McKinley Belcher III ("Trial by Fire") Gendre le Roux (TV series "Warrior") Milton Shore (TV series “Black Sails”), Stivel Mark (TV series “Black Sails”), Peter Gadot (TV series “Shelter”), Langley Kirkwood (TV series "Warrior") Craig Firebrass (Rise of the Foot Soldier franchise) and others.
