Trailer for Sam Hargrave's directorial debut "Extraction"

It's always nice to watch the success of talented people. Moreover, considering the fact that in the field of action cinema it is extremely difficult to break out from an ordinary stuntman into a leading actor or director. However, there are such examples. This can be considered Isaac Florentine, and, in particular, David Leitch с Chad Stahelski. The latter not only successfully debuted as directors in big cinema, but also became real stars, whose plans are scheduled for several projects ahead.

We really hope that a martial artist, stuntman and action director will join these people Sam Hargrave, who directed his first full-length action film called "Evacuation" (Extraction).

Let us remember that Sam started out as a stuntman in the early 2000s and he became known to us primarily as a performer of action roles in short films like "Bad choice" и "Seven Layer Immersion", and also as the main villain in the independent action comedy "Unlucky Stars". In big cinema, Sam continued to perform stuntwork, being understudies for many stars: Zach Braff (TV series "Clinic") Liev Schreiber (“X-Men Origins: Wolverine”), Mark Strong ("Green Lantern"), Justin Timberlake (“Time”, “VA-Bank”), Chris Evans (Marvel Cinematic Universe) and others. At the same time, Hargrave was involved in stunt and action choreography, gradually gaining a name for himself in this field. Friendship with Anthony и Joe Russo – directors of the Hollywood “Avengers” franchise, allowed Sam to take the “action helm” of many notable projects, such as the franchise "The Hungger Games", militants "War of the Wolves 2" и "Explosive Blonde" and other films.

Finally, the Sam Hargrave under producer supervision Joe Russo is making his own action movie for the streaming giant Netflix.

Speech in the film "Evacuation" will be about mercenary Tyler Rake, who is given the task of freeing the son of an international criminal from captivity. But freeing the boy is only half the story. The fact is that the guy is a pawn in a war between two drug lords and must be killed at all costs. Rake will have to make a difficult choice and protect the boy, fleeing from a huge number of all kinds of militants on the streets of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The main role in the film was played by a Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth (Thor and Avengers franchises, Race, Men in Black: International). The rest of the ensemble includes: David harbor (TV series "Stranger Things") Golshifte Farahani (“Grandfather Azis”), Pankaj Tripathi ("The power of faith"), Randeep Hooda (“Once Upon a Time in Mumbai”) and other actors. One of the roles was played by a stuntman we know Vonzel Carter (TV series “Nice Troubles”).

The film will be shown on Netflix April 24 2020 years. And we hope that "Evacuation" will launch Hargrave's career into a new phase, and specifically as a director.
