Donnie Yen plays the role of a captain of the imperial guard during the Ming Dynasty. When he is wrongly accused of murder and conspiracy with the enemy, his former fellow Guardsmen set out in pursuit of him. But their battle ends with all three being buried for 300 years under the snow of an avalanche.
Frozen soldiers found by a wealthy philanthropist are sent back to Hong Kong for study, only to thaw and escape.
On Halloween night, Donnie takes refuge with a drunken and emotionally exhausted bartender, and she gradually helps him integrate into 21st century society.
Meanwhile, the rest of the guards have their own plans: one still wants to track down Donnie and bring him to justice, and the other decides to make a name for himself in modern Hong Kong.

EvilDollaR is a constant problem with opponents indeed, but the plot is however historical, it’s a pity =(
The main thing is that they select worthy opponents for him, and not some pop singers.
This is a remake. I'm talking about this I wrote a little earlier.
There was once such a film starring Yuen Biao..... Same name, same plot. Adnaka remake.
Who cares? can be easily found on torrents. The film is so-so, a semi-stupid comedy. Although the fight scenes with Biao are great as always.
I don’t know which direction the remake will take, especially with Donnie in the title role.
Well, where would we be now without three dee, a shaky camera and a crappy script :)
