Remember we told to you about the fact that the Australian action actress Maria Tran plans to make a full-length nostalgic film "Tiger Cops" (Tiger Cops), and even posted a trailer? Well, so... The film did not happen, but the project “moved” to the format of a web series, three episodes of which are already available on the Internet.
The directors of the series are Adrian Castro и Tran Ly, who is also responsible for the fight choreography.
The main roles in the series went to, in fact, herself Maria Tran (“Bleeding Steel”) and comedian Stephen Oliver ("Black comedy"). The main negative role is played by the legendary action film actor and martial artist Richard Norton (“Magic Crystal”). Actors on hand: Clarise Vecente (TV series "Old School"), Phillip Kane ("Zero event"), Khan Treu (“Event Zero”), veteran of niche cinema Leo Fong (“The Moment of Murder”) and others.
Let us remind you that the project tells the story of two police partners Tiger and Wombat, who are on the trail of a criminal king nicknamed the White Ghost in the setting of Hong Kong in the mid-80s.
The series is openly parody and comedic, making fun of the cliches of Hong Kong action cinema of the 80s. Even unsuccessful takes at the end of each episode are included. It is easy to notice that the title of each 8-minute episode refers us to some famous Chinese film.
So far, only three episodes of the web series have been released. The continuation is planned for early 2019. But we invite you to look at what is already freely available.

I am waiting. I hope there will be something exciting.
I would like to mention Pasha as a person who has been an active participant in this project since…
Sad ending, albeit with a joke...
Added a video from the filming of "Twilight of the Warriors".
