Gavin did not specify how the series would be connected to the film, but described the general synopsis of the future project: Bobby Watkins lives in Houston and is trying to escape poverty for the sake of his family, breaking into the world of big-time sports.

Wrote the script for the series Adair Cole (“Number 87”, “Lawless District”), filmed by the studio Lionsgate Films, and the main role is given to a professional wrestler and former UFC fighter Daniel Cormier, for whom the yet-to-be-titled series will mark his acting debut.

The project is supposed to have six episodes, but nothing more is known about this series. All we have to do is wait for news.

The cult director for fans of hand-to-hand action films of the 90s recently broke his fifteen-year “silence”. Sheldon Lettich (“AWOL”, “Bloodsport”, “Only the Strong”, “The Secret of the Order”).

In an interview with a blogger David Kurzhal on channel Viking Samurai Lettic admitted that he is actively working on a sports drama called "Fighter's Pride" (Fight Pride) based on the classic play "Hairy Monkey" Eugene O'Neill.

Later, the official news release appeared in the specialized media - Sheldon Lettich is actually making a new movie after 15 years! Sheldon's last directorial project was an action film. "Strong Protection" (2006) starring Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Plot "Fighter's Pride" tells the story of a guy named Yank, who has psychological difficulties due to parental violence as a child. Now he is a social outcast with difficulty controlling his own aggression. However, adult life is also full of cruelty, which leads Yank into the world of mixed martial arts.

The main role in the film, which is already being filmed in Atlanta, was played by Daniel Stiesen (“Rise of the Foot Soldier 3”, “Last Man Fallen”), and the rest of the ensemble of actors has quite a few familiar names: Michael Paré ("Lincoln for the Lawyer") Ralf Möller ("Cyborg"), Randy Couture (The Expendables franchise) and Natasha Malthe ("Means war").

One way or another, we are glad to see Lettich return to cinema. All that's left is to wait for the movie.

Hollywood filmmakers are still haunted by the commercial success of the franchise "John Wick" Chad Stahelski, and therefore projects similar in concept continue to flourish.

A French director worked on one of these Camille Delamarre, who is no stranger to the action genre. He was the director of such projects as "District 13: Brick Mansions" (2013) "Transporter: Legacy" (2015) and TV series "Way" (2017). Delamarra's new action movie is called "Killers Club" (Assassin Club), in which he played the main role Henry Golding ("Gentlemen", "GIJoe. Rise of Cobra: Snake Eyes").

The events of the film will unfold in the world of international spies and professional killers. And in this world, Morgan Gaines is considered the best. One day he receives a task to eliminate six targets, but the task becomes extremely difficult, because the specified targets are elite assassins, each of whom is given the same task. Under the guidance of his mentor Jonathan, the main character must find a way to get out of the mess alive, saving his friend Sophie, because on the other side is the legendary killer Falka.

The young Golding is accompanied by venerable actors: Noomi Rapace (“Prometheus”, “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows”), Daniela Melchior ("Suicide Squad: Mission Bang Bang") Sam Neal (Jurassic Park franchise) Claudio Del Falco (“Rage in the Fist”) and others.

A veteran stuntman is in charge of the local action. Gabriel Ragusa (“The Passion of the Christ”, “Quantum of Solace”, “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.”) for which the position of director will be his debut.

The film is in the post-production stage and we will not be able to see it until the end of 2022.
