“News” is spreading online that the popular action star, Scott Adkins, allegedly negotiating his participation in UFC, and is planning to appear in the Octagon in the fall. This is even supported by a “quote” from the actor:
No matter how strange it may sound, damn it, I want to try myself in MMA, even though I’m an actor, I’ve been involved in martial arts since childhood and have kept myself in good physical shape all my life. Life is too short and don't give up on what you would like to try. If we manage to come to an agreement with the UFC, then I think you will see me in the Octagon in the fall.
Boyka's fans are crazy about this news, but fans Scott Adkins Such words would, at the very least, be surprising. And not only because Scott is very active on social networks, and would become the primary source of such information (and not some left-wing Russian public pages from VK), but also because he has spoken on this topic many times before.

I understand why he did it and I respect him for it. I think you have to figure out what you're good at and stick to it. For me this is cinema.

Needless to say that there is no official confirmation of the “news” about Adkins’ participation in real MMA fights? No.
In October 2017, Adkins was already in a cage at Wawan MMA in Kuwait and performed quite successfully. But... there is a “but”:
