Actually, the title of the publication speaks for itself.
After English subtitles appeared online, which, to my great regret, after a preliminary review turned out to be not official, but homemade, I finally decided to translate them. Despite the presence of shortcomings in the English subtitles and some inconsistencies with the Thai version, the overall meaning of the film did not suffer much from this. The result was a partial mixture of Thai and English subtitles, with minor additions and synchronized timings.
For English connoisseurs for whom the translation will hurt their eyes, I will give a couple of examples: the Thai word “Po” (Father, Dad) in English. the subtitles say “Why?” (Why, why); the “mayrayut” style is generally spoken of as “some kind of martial art”, etc.
Subtitles are perfect for DVDRips based on the original disc. We have not tested it with the VCD version, but, if necessary, it can be modified for it. In any case, watch and enjoy, comment and report any bugs you find. I'll fix it.

PS If you know the Thai language well, I advise you to watch the film without any translation or dubbing. You will not regret.

Thais practically don't do Thai subtitles. Only certain phrases for films where English appears. language. English subtitles usually appear after DVD releases in English countries. K Ong-Bak 2 appeared only 11 months later.

Voice acting based on subs has appeared. The voice is normal, there is humor.

I completely agree with the last phrases. I myself was jarred by the translation, but there is no official English translation yet. (Take Ong-Bak 2 for example: the official English translation has appeared, but no one wants to translate it again, all the fans have already watched the film up and down).
And one more thing: evil Cheburator, if you know Thai well, why not make your correct subtitles based on my timings. I personally will be only glad and will happily watch the film again.

The rest of the names of drinks, traditionally with slipslop, are also almost all taken from the bullshit, but those that are given in Russian are translated as Kirsch, Mark, Maraschino, Shrub and Ratafya. (the people need to be enlightened, otherwise people only know beer, vodka and a couple of Western brands :) so I’m for proximity to the sources) by the way, I know at least twenty varieties of rice alcohol - more than half even have names, as far as I know in Russian, no - so it’s not a fact that this is rice vodka, because who knows what this unfortunate translator meant. Then, when there is a conversation about kidnappers, the following phrase comes up: “Do you know what pheromones are?” to which Dew nods his head - there, damn it, you don’t even need to know Thai to translate, but the unfortunate subtiter completely ignores this phrase - like almost any mention of pheromones - apparently he didn’t have enough imagination for that. At the end, Sanim’s bride seems to repeat hen Sanim mai three times (at least). that this dreamer manages to translate differently each time, not forgetting to turn the interrogative mai into the mythical name May - in general, this alone allows us to judge the “quality” of the translation. I'm not talking about the heaps of completely missed speech. Such a dreamer should have his hands pulled out so that he won’t have to suffer from bullshit. So maybe someone who really knows the language would do the translation, but now - like the subs already exist - and as far as I know, it seems like in six or seven languages this obscenity has already spread across the network. Horror at last. It’s still not enough for them to be taken and officially dubbed :(
