Martial artist, director and fight choreographer Lau Ka-leung has passed away

This morning in the hospital "Union Hospital" A famous Hong Kong film fighter, director and fight choreographer passed away in Hong Kong. Lau Ka-leung. He died at the age of 76 after a long battle with leukemia, according to local media reports.

Lau Ka-Leung was born between 1934 and 1937 (different sources give different dates) and began practicing martial arts at the age of 7, as his father was a famous master and actor, whom he in turn trained Lam Sai-Wing, taught by the legendary Wong Fei-Hungg.

Ka-Leung entered the film industry as a teenager and soon achieved not only stunt roles, but also choreography. For example, Lau handled action scenes in many of the legendary director's films. Chana Chae. Ka-Leung is considered to be the first stuntman and choreographer in history to become a successful director. He directed his first film in 1973 - he became "Escape from oppression" with no less legendary Gordon Liu starring. In the future, Ka-Leung would release Liu's biggest hits, and also work with notable names in the Hong Kong film industry: Chen Kuantai and Lo Lie in "Executioners from Shaolin" (1977), with Alexander Fu Shen in "Cat vs Rat" (1982), with Jet Li in "Shaolin Temple 3" (1985), with Chow Yun-Fat in "Invincible Tiger" (1988), with Jackie Chan in "Drunken Master 2" (1994), with Andy Lau in "Drunken Master 3" (1994) and with Jackie Woo "Drunk Monkey" (2003)

It is also believed that it was Master Lau who made the first kung fu comedy "Spiritual Boxer" (1975), thereby setting the fashion for this genre. In addition, Ka-Leung revealed to the world the talent of a wonderful actress Kara Hui, filming her most notable hits like "Monkey Style Fighter" (1979) and "My young aunt" (1981)

A person Lau Ka-Luna called when it comes to the revolution of Hong Kong action cinema along with Sammo Hoon и Jackie Chan. Master Lau's innovative style has been visible to the naked eye since his first works. It was Lau who made pure fighting games, bringing true martial arts to cinema, becoming Hong Kong's biggest innovator and most influential filmmaker until the mid-80s.

On screen, Ka-Leung rarely received leading roles, but he always attracted attention in his own on-screen battles, where the actor’s skill was difficult to question. The master's last acting project was "Seven Swords" (2013) with Donnie Yen.

Rest in peace Mr Lau...

That's it. A broken link and a broken archive are two different things.

I'm surprised why none of those who downloaded mentioned the non-working archive...

I didn’t use compression; there was no point in the information for recovery. Most likely, there were glitches during the filling; I didn’t monitor it.

    I'm re-uploading. Thank you, Jvr™.

PS I double-checked. Downloading is fine, unpacking too.

You mean broken? Direct link, this is not a file hosting service. Right click and “save as”. Everything is working.

Unfortunately, the archive itself is “broken”, I’ve already downloaded it twice and nothing... I don’t want to teach anyone, but please (those who post), add recovery information when creating a RAR archive, at least 3%.

I feel sorry for him, of course.

And, by and large, there is no obvious replacement either. People’s mentality is already different, their experience is completely different.

Oh you......!!! It's a pity. It's a pity. He was a good expert!
And the most offensive thing about Ravenside is that there is no OBVIOUS replacement! That's the big picture.

It's a pity. The titans are leaving, the old generation of masters, actors, musicians is leaving... less and less of them remain.

Damn, I can’t believe it, he was a great guy, a real Master! I often watch films with his participation. It's a pity . R.I.P.
