Martial artist and actor Kim Tai Chung passes away

On August 27, at the age of 68, the Korean actor and taekwondo master died. Kim Tai Chun (Kim Tai Chung).

His film debut in Hong Kong took place in the 70s, when Kim together with Yuenem Biao replaced the deceased on the screen Bruce Lee in film “Game of Death” (Game of Death). The producers liked his performance so much that a few years later they again used his services, and Kim got the role of a character named Bobby Lo in an action movie “Game of Death 2” / “Tower of Death” (Game of Death II | Tower Of Death). His final fight with Hwang Zhang Lee is rightfully considered one of the best fights in the history of Hong Kong cinema.

In June 1985, Chinese producer Ng See Yuen asked him to play a ghost Bruce Lee in an action movie “Don't retreat and don't give up” (No Retreat, No Surrender). Since then, he has rarely appeared in public, and only in 2008 did he attend a special screening of his film “Miss, Please be Patient”, in which he played the main role.

On August 27, he came down with abdominal pain and was taken to the hospital, where he soon died. Doctors named the cause of death as internal bleeding of the stomach.

I only found out about his death yesterday. Nightmare. Kim has always impressed me with his sparkling tricks and movements. Handsome, what can I say.
I watched almost all the films with his participation, except for two - “Fist of Death” and “Miss please be a patient”. It's a shame that he left our world. I looked for information about him so often, and, unfortunately, I found only videos with his archival photographs and the inscriptions RIP.
Well, all that remains is to watch the movie and remember Tai Joon Kim.
    Everlasting memory.

At his age this is dangerous. He is far from young, but it is good that he was literally pulled out of the other world in time. Well done doctors, Gordon, hang in there!

Although I didn’t know him, it’s still sad. Rest in peace Mr Kim.

Offtopic: Recently, Gordon Liu was taken to the hospital with a severe traumatic brain injury. His condition was critical and he required artificial ventilation. Now his condition is stable and Liu is recovering, refusing to give any comments to reporters.
