Film "Wasteland”С Ma Dong-seok in the title role demonstrates what he does best - punch people in the face while remaining an unflappable tough guy. The film has plenty of fights, a large body count, a decent villain, and a fast-paced narrative, making it one of the few Netflix films I'd happily watch again.
Plot
After a massive earthquake, Seoul, South Korea is transformed into an apocalyptic wasteland where both civilization and law and order are completely destroyed.
Review
Don Lee (Ma Dong-seok) is one of my favorite modern action actors because he looks very convincing in action scenes thanks to his physique; I wouldn't want to be in the path of his attack because I probably wouldn't be able to speak for a week. I especially liked the scene where he beats up an entire gang and then interrogates them about where the water bottles come from, after which he knocks everyone out with one blow.
In "Wasteland” unexpectedly a lot of humor, and some of it is really successful; Overall, this is a dark story about experimentation on children, so the ridiculous moments sometimes feel out of place. But the scene where Nam Sang (Dong-seok) can't reach a machete in a hallway full of thugs is great physical comedy before the carnage begins. The film is a true gore fest with severed limbs and blood everywhere, and I loved every gruesome minute.
There's a bit of drama with mad doctor Yang Gi-soo (Lee Hee-joon), who is trying to bring his dead daughter back to life; this is the reason for his experiments, but he is too consumed by grief and madness to be saved, so he must be stopped permanently.
“Badland Hungters” has good pacing, with Donny Lee as the deadpan badass protagonist, but I also enjoyed Lee Joon-young in the role of Choi Ji-wan, who sometimes brings laughs, but remains a real hero.
Generally, "Wasteland” is one of Netflix's best films, with regular action scenes, brutal kills and Ma Dong-seok at the peak of his cool. Not all the humor is successful sometimes - it's stupid, but it's still a lot of fun.

Yes.
The previous ones are the ones from Tiger Style Media?
Complete crap, not a movie. The previous two are much better.
Damn, that looks pretty good. I'll have to take note. Thanks.
