Let's turn our attention to South Korea, which, apparently, intends to delight film fans in 2017, including fans of action and combat films. The trailer for the action-comedy film has appeared online "Cooperation" (Cooperation) director Kim Sung-hoon and film companies CJ Entertainment.

Here's the film's synopsis: A young North Korean investigator, Rim Cheol-ryong, travels to Seoul to arrest smuggler Cha Gi-sung, who has made a fortune transporting refugees across the border between North and South. Seoul detective Kang Jin-tae suddenly becomes the northerner's partner. For the first time in modern history, North and South Korea will take part in the same investigation.

Despite all the prerequisites of a serious thriller, "Cooperation" is a classic bad-cop film in which, judging by the trailer, a lot of attention was paid to good action. What about the land of the rising sun? Well, Japan also has something to offer to visitors to our site. We're talking about a movie called "Fight Song" or Mukoku in Japanese, which is based on the bestselling book of the same name Shu Fujisawa.

“War Song” is an action drama that tells the story of a guy named Kengo, who was once a promising kendo swordsman, but after his father, a famous former kendo master, became seriously ill, which led to a coma, the guy left the boken, closed the dojo, and is now working security guard at a local bar and drinks heavily. A chance acquaintance with high school student and aspiring rapper Haneda, who demonstrates rare talent in wielding a wooden sword, forces Kengo to return to training himself.

As can be seen from the synopsis, the plot of the film is reminiscent of a hit two years ago "Uzumasa's Footlights" Ken Ochiai, where the theme of teacher and student in the study of the national Japanese art of fencing, kendo, was also played out in a slightly different setting.

At the director's helm of "Fight Song" is Kazuyoshi Kumakiri (“Rookie Batsman,” “My Man”) and the leading role was played by a rising star of Japanese cinema Go Ayano ("School of Samurai", "Crows: The Sequel"). He was kept company by: Nijiro Murakami ("Fireflies Natsumi") Atsuko Maeda (“Godzilla: Rebirth”), a classic of Japanese cinema Akira Emoto (“Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla”) and others.

The film's premiere is scheduled for 3 June 2017 of the year. In the meantime, you can enjoy the teaser of the film.
