Producer Frank DeMartini is in Bangkok preparing to make a film. "White elephant" (Elephant White). The action thriller, starring Djimon Hounsou, will be directed by Prachya Pinkaev, whom DeMartini regards as the Thai Steven Spielberg.
In a news story titled “Why I'm Filming in Bangkok” on the Big Hollywood website, DeMartini explained who Prachya is:
Prachya is known for action films. “Ong-Bak”, “Chocolate” and “The Protector” - the three highest-grossing films in the history of the country. You may wonder why I'm in Thailand and not somewhere in the States. Why am I in a country that is 9000 miles from my home when I could be filming a film somewhere in America, including Los Angeles.
DeMartini explained why he was in Bangkok and detailed why filming in the States was so expensive. Working in Thailand is nothing new for him - he recently finished working on the melodrama “The Prince and Me 4” from DeWarrenne Pictures, with elephants, of course. :)
The only thing that Frank DeMartini forgot is that “Chocolate” is not included in the list of the 15 most successful Thai films (according to bangkokpost.com), the top three of which are the famous “The Legend of Suryothai” and two films about “King Naresuan”. “The Defender” (Tom Yum Goong) is in 4th place, “Ong-Bak 2” is in 13th and “Ong-Bak” is in 12th. “Chocolate” was not included in this list...

You can watch it once
The film is not bad, but the recent "City Hungter" is better in terms of action.
To be honest, there is no particular principle... when there is more time, an “old man” is added, when there is less time...
Not a bad idea. But I don’t understand something, on what basis are profiles added? And legends...
