Bruce Law and his team of stuntmen were used to film the car chase.

And further. The poster floating around the internet of a man with a bat is fan art. This guy has nothing to do with the character from the film (and there really is one). Of course, the release date (supposedly September 8) is not true.

According to Evans, the trailer will be released, perhaps, only in January.

“Well, why exaggerate like that? If you look at it this way, then the era of martial arts was closed back in the early 90s (I often came across this opinion), and how many great films came out after that? =)”
Alas, yes. Realism in battles is gone, and the period was quite short, probably 85-98.

    Sorry, fixed it.

A :) Sanya, the letter “B” on your keyboard doesn’t work or what? :)

This is such a joke. He said figuratively, of course. The filming will be hellish, as far as I understand.

I forgot something, but Evans seemed to say that the action in the 2nd part will not be as hellish as in the first?
A day in a smelly toilet.
Show business, glitter, glamor - what are we talking about?

I think this will be known only after the rough editing.

PS I asked Evans. Let's see if he answers.

I wonder how long the film will be?... There seem to be a lot of events planned.

20 corpses in the toilet. Will be cool. Another phrase from Evans, slightly modified so as not to be repeated:

A day in a smelly toilet. Show business, glitter, glamour. The fight in the toilet turned out to be a real brainstorm... Tomorrow it will be [utter] hell.

Great. I was already starting to think that the original concept would not be realized.

The second day (out of 3) of filming the fight in the toilet has ended (the same one from the old promo video). Ico fought against the 20's. The booth had to be reduced in size because the previous version on the screen looked too wide. As Evans said, it will become "cozier as the bodies grow." :D Evans experiments with new editing styles to emphasize the action. The next few weeks will be filming almost all of the big action scenes, followed by a break in April.

But in vain he doesn’t like slowdown, good topic. It would look beautiful, especially when Yuko, say, sticks someone’s head into a wall. If only they had filmed more funny scenes, like in the first part, for example, when the guy got hit and flew to the floor below, falling on his spine on the parapet. Damn, Comrade Evans makes really great movies. It's a pity that the audience for such films is quite narrow.

Filming, not filming. Evans is the director. I've spent the last five years making films with BI. Understandably, I got a little fed up. If he had filmed in the style of Bourne, he would have riveted about 10 pieces during this time.

God, he already wants to act in other genres...

"Raid 2, TYUG 2 and Ip Man 3 may close the era of martial arts on screen"

Well, why exaggerate it like that? If you look at it this way, then the era of martial arts was closed back in the early 90s (I often came across this opinion), and how many great films came out after that? =)

The Japanese man from the photos in the center “played” one of the villains in the game Yakuza-4, the rest seemed to be there too.

I'm waiting for the second Raid. The main thing is to keep the approach to battles the same, and not chase after tricks and special effects. Raid 2, TYUG 2 and Ip Man 3 may close the era of martial arts on the screen.

As I understand it, just after the assault he will be offered/forced to infiltrate. And if the plot is related to family, then it is possible that the wife will be kidnapped, for example.

    Author's gravatar

It seems that at first they reported that the plot would develop immediately after the end of the first part, no? Or even prison and infiltration into the syndicate, it’s difficult to imagine the full picture yet :)

My pleasure. This one is still “warm”, piping hot, so to speak. I had to wait a little to accumulate useful information.

Thank you. I didn't see the last frame.

I hope you already know that the film will not be released until 2014.
