The first difficulties in working on "Ip Man 3"

You already know that the filming of the film "Ip Man 3" (Ip Man 3D) began , as well as about the first controversial issues regarding the participation in the filming of Mike Tyson and computer reincarnation Bruce Lee. And now, it seems, the film's director, Wilson Yip, has encountered his first serious obstacle, which could have a serious impact on the entire work.

Representatives of the company Bruce Lee Enterprises , which owns all intellectual property rights (such as name, likeness, voice, writings and more) associated with Bruce Lee, announced their intention to stop using the image of the battle film legend. They claim that the use of Lee's image in the film "Ip Man 3D" is "completely unauthorized."

The film's producers said they are collaborating with Bruce's brother, Robert Leebut in Bruce Lee Enterprises stated that it had nothing to do with the late star's intellectual property rights.

Raymond Wong said that the issue would be resolved by lawyers, but this could turn out to be a serious problem for "Ip Man 3".

The team's decision is quite strange"Ip Man 3 " use image Bruce Lee, without first clarifying this point with the copyright holders, especially in light of the fact that the same problems prevented the mention of the late star in "Ip Man 2 ".

Either way, it will be a headache for everyone involved, but let's hope everything works out without affecting the quality of one of the most anticipated martial arts films.

My spidey sense tells me this is what was supposed to happen. Brrrrr, I hate these “copyright holders”.

This is how you live and live, and then it turns out that the rights to your soul completely belong to a media corporation.
