Summary:

Jack Stone deliberately organizes a bank robbery in order to end up in prison with the notorious Russian thief in law, Balam.

Balam is more than a common criminal; he is a very cunning and dangerous authority who controls the police from behind bars. He lives behind bars as a cover for his real power. His cell is a luxurious private room that was created especially for him and is inaccessible to most prisoners. Even the prison warden is wary of approaching his cell.

However, even surrounded by his loyal henchmen and guards, Balam does not know that Jack is coming after him to avenge his murdered family... Balam is tough, but... Jack is tougher.

I was pleasantly surprised by the film: I thought that after “11 Hours” I would never see Reeves again, but here he is simply very good in fights. The plot, of course, is “C”, but no one expects anything outstanding from such films. Chuck Liddell adorned the movie with his hairstyle and fights; the staging of the fights and the stunt work were top notch. The translation is quite adequate and without obscenity.

It is already clear that the action will be, as they now fashionably say, “closer to realism.” That is, as few punches as possible, as many blows to the face with hands and feet as possible. Personally, I am more for a beautiful “ballet” than for a straightforward mash-up. But the trailer turned out to be really adrenaline-filled, I was hooked. But the film is unlikely.

judging by the trailer, the combat is better than in the slave trade

Well, what kind of “film” is it now without Russian authority? Without Russian authorities now, you understand, there is nowhere.
But you know, for some reason, I don’t know why, the trailer interested me much more than the same “Slave Trade”. Although, perhaps this trailer will be better than the original film.
