The most interesting thing is that there is a more complete version, which is presented on disc and includes more hardcore scenes. The bad thing is that the quality of the image and sound decreases. These scenes don’t add much meaning, but the scenes are interesting.
According to foreign information, the film was originally titled “Pure fire” and at the end there was supposed to be a fight with a large and clumsy enemy. The film itself was filmed in Houston, Texas.
In the video I mentioned that James Booth, who played Limehouse Willie, wrote the screenplay for the film. Among the interesting things, he also wrote the script for three films with Michael Dudikoff, "The power of revenge“(1986) and “American Ninja 2” And "American Ninja 4“, 1987 and 1990, respectively.

A lot of films are being released on blu-ray and 4K UHD. In July, the duology “Project A” with Jackie Chan will be released in 4K format. Recently, three restored films with Jet Li were released. “Hitman”, “Servants of Evil”, “Secret Agent”. “Black Mask” is coming soon, including a Taiwanese version. A collector's box with Bruce Lee films was released, which not only contained restored films, but also a bunch of additional materials, including for “Game of Death,” where almost all the material in “Pagoda” is presented.

Since almost all publications with English or subtitles are understood well. For example, I found the same film “Pray for Death” only on American eBay. The Germans generally produce few copies. 300-500. Not always well restored, but there are good releases, with extras and a lot of variant covers. I have a group on VK, if you are interested you can check it out. Many people collect abroad. The problem for us is that there is no Russian and the disks are locked, which requires a separate player. Considering our situation, closer to collecting.
