You know, I buy licensed discs... And this despite what was said above about our ugly publishers, who:
- They release discs with not the best “picture”, and sometimes I would even say lousy. For example, they release films on DVD-5 (!!!) with low video bitrate...
- They release “castrated” discs: there are no original sound tracks, subtitles, I’m generally silent about extras...
- They sell discs with defects at a higher price than high-quality, richly equipped discs...
To be honest, it’s not just the money you feel sorry for, but how much you don’t want to feed these freaks! For that matter, let the company that released the film be a little concerned about the quality of the discs that are released by the publishers to whom they gave the publishing rights! (on Ozon.Ru there is my negative comment towards the publisher of the DVD "Undisputed 3")
For myself, I have found another way out for now; I buy so-called regional publications that correspond to the price (for example, “Bangkok Knockout”).
I haven't seen a digital copy of the film with extras yet, so only DVD and Blu-ray. I saw it once, the extras were sold separately, but that’s nonsense.

As soon as our publishers start posting Russian versions of films online at a price of 100-200-300 rubles for a downloaded copy with the ability to pay through any of the common payment systems, I’ll start downloading the lites. I have been buying all good games through Steam for a long time. But with films there is no such possibility. And I personally didn’t give up on the DVD box. What century are we living in?
I buy DVDs at the price of DVDs and even if the edition is not rich in extras... I will still buy it in order to support the actor and his film. And about “I would buy it if there were extras” - nothing more than an ordinary excuse.
