Jackie Chan produces Lady Warriors/Generals of Yang Family

Jackie Chan is currently busy producing the historical film The Legendary Amazons (Generals of Yang Family) with a budget of 100 million yuan. Jackie Chan admitted that he really liked the film's script.

Chan was also offered several roles. First as Yang Zong Bao, but he turned it down. Jackie's wife burst into tears while reading the script, so he agreed to serve as executive producer. The second role that director Frankie Chan asked Jackie to play was that of a FEMALE character named Lady She. Then they couldn’t find a suitable actress. Jackie Chan, smiling as always, spoke about this:

I guessed that Lady Shae must be quite in the body, and by changing clothes I would simply surprise everyone. As an actor, I would like to try myself in different roles. But ultimately, the director found Cheng Pei Pei, and I didn't mind her getting the role.

Filming will begin on November 6 in Hengdian, then the location will be changed to Ordos. Filming will last about 3 months.
