- Film production "SPL 2" (Stars of Destiny 2) was approved State Administration for Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SAPPRFT) back in August 2013.

- Filming will begin not in the spring of 2014, but in January (according to filmbiz.asia).
- It turned out that the director of the film, Terrence Chun (Terrence Cheung), and Chen Po-Soi (Cheang Pou-soi), who directed "Monkey King" с Donnie Yen, is the same person.
- In the story submitted for consideration "SAPPRFT", it is said that the main character of the film is a Thai prison guard who, in order to save the life of his daughter, needs to free an undercover policeman from prison. Tony Jaa confirmed on his Facebook page that he will play the main role.
- Jackie Wu will play a supporting role. The names of other actors have not yet been officially confirmed.
