The main advantage “TriggerWarning” is that Jessica Alba is back on screen and has some impressive action scenes, but there's nothing that really makes it stand out in the crowded streaming market.
Plot
A seasoned commando (Jessica Alba) takes over her father's bar after his sudden death and soon finds herself in conflict with a violent gang rampaging through her hometown.
Review
Jessica Alba returns to our screens in a new action movie from Netflix “Not for the faint of heart“, but was it worth the wait? Not really. I've been waiting for this movie, but it's a typical generic Netflix movie that will entertain a little, but you'll forget about it tomorrow morning.
The plot is not new: our heroine Parker (Alba) returns from abroad after the death of her father. At first she thinks it was suicide or an accident, but she soon realizes that not everything in her hometown is as it seems.
It looks like "China O'Brien“, but without cool fighting skills Cynthia Rothrock. The action rarely stands out, and there isn't a single moment in the film that excites. The pace of the story is slow at times and none of the dialogue is memorable or quotable.
Anthony Michael Hall managed to be quite terrifying as the corrupt senator, but I would have liked to have seen what happened to him on screen as he deserved a more satisfying comeuppance.
However, the film does have its moments: Alba is an immediate attention-grabber on screen and does her best with the given material, but despite some decent fight scenes, it's hard to believe she could take down guys twice her size. With the right preparation, it's probably possible; Hell, even a 12 year old girl could beat me.
The film is an hour and 45 minutes long and sometimes it feels that way, but at least it doesn't last more than two hours, so it's a passable action movie.
Overall, Not for the Faint of Heart is another one-off Netflix movie that may be enjoyable in one viewing, but Jessica Alba deserved better and I wish it had more memorable moments.

Yes.
The previous ones are the ones from Tiger Style Media?
Complete crap, not a movie. The previous two are much better.
Damn, that looks pretty good. I'll have to take note. Thanks.
