The first teaser has been released, announcing the upcoming release of the film "Legend of the Condor Heroes: The Great Hero” (Legend Of The Condor Heroes: The Great Hero). This film marks the return of the director Tsui Harka to the literary legacy of the late writer Jin Yuna for the first time since 1992, when he worked on the script for the film "The Legend of the Swordsman” from Jet Li starring, filmed Tony Chin.
The new film stars: Xiao Zhan, Sabrina Zhuang и Wanda Margraf, familiar to viewers from the film "Ip Man 4” . Tsui Hark acted as director and author of the script, based on one of the episodes from the first book of the saga "The Legend of the Condor Heroes” Jin Yuna.
The story is set against the backdrop of historical events: the Mongol forces led by Genghis Khan moved west to destroy the Jin Dynasty, and planned to move south to defeat the Song Dynasty. Meanwhile, martial artists from various schools in China's Central Plain gather their forces to defend the city of Xiangyang.
The film is scheduled to premiere in China on the first day of the Lunar New Year in January.
