Famous comedian Chris Tucker for the first time in the last fifteen years he starred in a comedy that was not related to the franchise "Peak hour". In a recent interview, he said that the reason for his refusal of many projects was his desire for perfectionism. Many of the proposed scenarios had a lot of action, but it simply “didn’t appeal to him”; he wanted something different, unusual, unlike "Peak hour". However, he shared some details about the fourth part.
Here are the most interesting excerpts from the interview:
...
Chris Tucker: It would be interesting to teach Jackie Chan a few dance moves. I would teach him something from Michael [Jackson's] repertoire, something from hip-hop/rap, and at least have a good laugh, because he can learn everything in a matter of minutes. I could teach Jackie Chan how to do the moonwalk. That would be hilarious.

Chris Tucker: Rush Hour 4, we're doing it, me and Jackie [Chan]. We are trying to bring the project to life, so we are developing it and hoping that something will come of it.
Rush Hour producer Arthur Sarkeesian thinks Jackie could marry your character's cousin, and he suggested Octavia Spencer could play her.
Chris Tucker: Yes! I've heard about it. I have no idea what he's talking about. [laughs] We want to return to the first part, the realism that was present in it, and also reveal a little more of the individuality of my character. But everyone is eager to make sequels...
"And to reveal my character’s personality a little more."
No, thanks. There were already too many of you in the last parts

As for rush hour, returning to the first part is good. But in any case, for now this is only a project at the development stage.
