Hello to all action movie fans! Today we'll be going through some of the short films and web series that we've been following and have pilots for. Yes, we know that this could be the end of it (hey, "Brutal"!), but we cannot help but note them.
Red Rising
Let's start with an independent creative association of stuntmen Team Red Production, which periodically delight us with funny short films. True, this time it’s a two-part film Red Rising is an action-drama about a showdown between two warring gangs in an underground parking lot, during which all participants in the brawl lose their humanity.
Starring Joseph Le ("Flush") and Leroy Nguyen (“Black Scar Blues”) They also directed the short film and did the fight choreography.
Asura
Indonesian silat practitioner Ahmad Ali Sakurno presented his own short film "Azura", which they filmed together with the director Reza Hilman.
The film is about two teenagers who get lost while heading to the top of Mount Chiremay. Fate brought them to the caretaker of the mountain, who forbade them to continue climbing. This is where the conflict began.
Besides Ahmad Ali Sakurno starred in a short film Trisna Irawan и Aika Amalia.
Raging Fist
A web series by an Indian athlete, stuntman and fight choreographer has also launched Pratika Parmarawho is actively developing his career. It was he who choreographed the fights in last year's Bollywood action movie "Bhavesh Joshi is a superhero" and recent "The Man Who Doesn't Feel Pain", where Parmar worked shoulder to shoulder with Eric Jacobas и Dennis Ruell, and also played one of the roles.
We have already told about his author's project - a web series called "Fist of Fury", where Parmar stars with a debutante Devika. The series, as you might guess, is again about revenge.

Zone "A"
We would like to finish the selection with a Russian project - a pilot for a web series from a creative association JustActionFilms, based on the computer game universe "Stalker".
The future series is called "Zone "A". The director is listed Vyacheslav Vorobyov.
Synopsis: Zagorsk. A city in the center of Siberia. The city is a satellite, one of the many classified objects of the Cold War era. At the end of the 80s of the last century, not long before the collapse of the USSR, on the territory of Zagorsk, Soviet scientists led by Georgy Mikhailovich Kuznetsov were working on the creation of MIRAGE technology, capable of hiding any object from enemy satellites: a soldier, a platoon or even a military unit. In 2017, as a result of a chain of incredible events, cause-and-effect relationships and a divine plan, during testing of the MIRAGE-3 technology on the territory of Zagorsk, an anomalous zone was formed, called Zone “A.”
