Short films Throne, Lost Souls, Mental Kombat and Mask Up

Even if occasionally, we still try to introduce you to something new in the world of fan, semi- and professional short films. Today we have a good selection.

Thrones

Stuntman, action director and actor Aaron Toney (“War of the Wolves 2”, “Captain America: Civil War”, “Collectors”) has prepared his own short film project called "Throne".

His Majesty's defender Gabriel was forced to kill the king to save his family. A detachment of militants is sent in the footsteps of Gabriel in order to avenge the death of the ruler.

Aaron Toney directed the action and played the main role. And in the film the whole flower of independent combat cinema stands against him: James Young, Brian Cartago, Vonzel Carter, Robert Dill, Mickey Faccinelo, Brandon Huor, Alvin Sin, Malay Kim, Andy Le, Brian Le, Michael Lehr, PeiPei Alina Yuan, Brian Sloyer and others.

Lost Souls: Mortal Kombat

Short film based on the legendary fighting game "Mortal Kombat" filmed by the team BarilliantAction, which has already been noted in our film selections "Wake up" и "You're talking like a dog".

The plot is simple: the champion of the Mortal Kombat tournament, Liu Kang, fights the sorcerer Shang Tsung, not realizing that he has already defeated and enslaved the souls of Liu's friends.

Roles performed by: Chris Young, Robert Stephen Brown, Omari Valentine, Jenny Sahagun, Sachiko Ishida, Narayan Cabral, Ashley Bezziani, Mario Roja и Davis Chong.

Mental Kombat

A blogger, stuntman and taekwondo master presented a very short sketch to the audience. Aaron Gassor, aka Ginger Ninja Trickster.

In a new video, Aaron sorts things out with a multiple taekwondo champion Carl van Roon. But the battle will take place in the minds of the opponents...

Mask Up

Short crime action film "We put on masks" belongs to the actor Silas Borelli (“Super Fraudsters”) and the operator Grayson A. Welch (“Live Message”).

The film tells the story of three bank robbers who face certain difficulties, but cope with the task. Now they have money, but each of the gang plans to take it for themselves...

In addition to Borelli himself, the film featured Justin Berkhamer (TV series "Scream") and Jeff Galpin ("Killer Joe")

    I liked "Tron" the most. It seems to be nothing special, by modern standards, but somehow integral and dynamic. The special effects are well done.

      Dmitriy, and I liked all four. True, they are one of those that you won’t lose anything if you don’t look, but I looked at them with pleasure.
