The Cure
The first in today's selection is a real 37-minute action movie called "Medicine" from a short film director Akhmeta Atalaya.
Synopsis: in the near future, a terrible virus has consumed large areas of the planet. When infected, it kills the host within 24 hours, and only a temporary serum “resets” the condition for XNUMX hours. The young daughter of the mercenary Noah falls ill with a virus just when an experimental drug is stolen from a secret base by a terrorist organization. Noah will not stop until he returns the medicine and saves his daughter.
Starring in the film: himself Ahmet Atalay, Mashood Alam ("The Adventures of Aladdin"), Glen Baggerly (“Rob the loot”), Aaron Craft (“Deadly Nightmare”) and others.
No Way Out
The following short film shows our old friend in all his glory - a former member of the German stunt team The Young Masters and the future of Kung Lao in the upcoming film adaptation "Mortal Kombat" - Max Huang (“Armor of God 3: Mission Zodiac”, “Police Story 2013”).
A movie called "No exit" Produced, written and directed by Juan himself, it tells the story of an undercover cop whose legend is shattered when he fails to kill the daughter of an opposing mafia boss.

At The Edge
New film released by French short film director Lorenzo Vanin, which is known for its post-apocalyptic drama "Another world" (2019)
The new short film is called "On the edge" and tells the story of a man who tries to overcome his fears through the knowledge of martial arts.
The film was shot in Bangkok and featured a martial artist Mark Stas, Ron Smoorenburg ("Who am I?"), Byron Gibson (“Time does not wait”), Sergey Nosulenko (“Hungting on the Asphalt”). But the hand-to-hand combat scenes here are performed by local actors and stuntmen: Tomo Dimoila, Sasha Sheldon, Champ Archer, Rosana Corral, Tanya Keller и Max Wong.

9-minute comedy skit "Work force" talks about ordinary office workers who, having nothing better to do, decided to fool around.
With the help of this film, the guys showed their love for lightsaber battles from the universe "Star Wars".

The Killer, the Wounded and the Lier
Let's finish today's selection of short films with the thesis work of an American director of Japanese origin. Kurando Mitsutake, which may be familiar to visitors to our site with such pictures as "Samurai Avenger: Blind Wolf" (2009) "Pistol Woman" (2014) and "Killer Karate" (2016)
Back in 1998, Mitsutaka was graduating from film school and eventually released a short crime thriller, which was inspired by the classic samurai action film "Rashomon" Akira Kurosawa. The film was named "The Killer, the Wounded and the Liar". The director recently shared his first project by releasing a thriller online.
Unlike Mitsutake's later films, there is no active hand-to-hand combat, and the atmosphere is reminiscent of crime dramas Takeshi Kitano. But it’s always interesting how certain filmmakers on our subject began their journey.

Workforce is funny.
“At the edge” is moderately good. With an eye towards some kind of philosophy, idea (english require).
“No way out” - cool dynamic (over-accelerated, but not to the point of grotesque), spectacular and effective fights, but metal batons give no more effect than cardboard ones. And it flies to the main character, and there is a moment when one of the opponents was cut across the shin, which should have broken it. And nothing.
Ruhiyan also seems to be already over fifty dollars, but how he beat young Iko in “Raid”.
“The Cure” liked parkour on mountain serpentine roads. Although, of course, it's funny.
For fifteen thousand, this is a very cool short film. A fighter plane crash, a bunch of car crashes in the mountains and more, and so on. Everything is mounted inventively and looks fascinating. And in general, for fifteen thousand and 36 minutes, this is a very cool film.
