Abba
Let's start with the prolific and almost always interesting action choreographer and director Brian Sloyer, which has recently made its mark with two short films.
The first one is called "Abba" and the plot is secondary here, and Sloyer’s stylistic vision is important. However, for him such films are quite a frequent occurrence.
The main roles were played by Shai DeBro и Caitlin Houston.
The Catch
Brian's second film is a drama about the relationship between a father and son, which is presented through the prism of a fierce sword fight between a father and a mercenary.
The main roles went to stuntmen Akihiro Haga, Frank Jeong и Jay Kwon.
The fight choreography, as always in Sloyer's films, is top notch.

Another mastodon of independent action cinema pleased us with two sketches - Vlad Rimburg.
In the first one called "Flash" authorities are trying to catch two fugitives, who are forced to fight.
The roles of the fugitives were played Guy DaSilva и Dennis Ruel. And the following stuntmen oppose them: Emmanuel Manzanarez, Mickey Faccinello, Esteban Cueto, Enis Cheurfa, Brandon Huor, Jay Kwon и Brian Sloyer.

In a note to the video, Rimburg wrote that "Victim 2" - this is a recognition of respect for the legendary scene of confrontation Sammo Hunga и Lau Kar Luna from the movie "Rickshaw" (1989). In addition, Vlad said that this short film is not finished, but they will no longer work on it.
