The Hollywood Reporter reports: Actor Sean William Scott will star with Jackie Chan и Fan Bingbing in a new action-comedy adventure "Skiptrace" from companies "Exclusive Media" и "Talent International Film Co". Production of the film will begin on January 13, 2014 under the direction of the director Sam Fell.
Scenario based on an idea Jackie Chan, was written John Longino in collaboration with Brian Gatewood, Alessandro Tanaka, David Posamontier и Geoff Moore. The film will take place in various picturesque areas of China, from the mountain peaks of Mongolia to the sand dunes of the Gobi Desert.
The plot centers on a policeman (Chan), whose niece gets into trouble when she gets involved in the affairs of a crime syndicate. The syndicate is run by a crime boss, whom the main character has been trying to catch for ten years now. Now the policeman will have to track down and deliver to Hong Kong a person who can help him save his niece. The role of this talkative American, a gambling enthusiast, went to Sean William Scott.
