Action superstar Jason Statham, will play the lead role in the action movie “Insurgency” (Mutiny) director Jean-Francois Richet (Crash).
After his boss, a billionaire industrialist, is murdered in front of his eyes, Cole Reed (Statham) comes under suspicion for the crime. On the run, he works to uncover an international conspiracy.
The film is based on the script Lindsay Michelle и J.P. Davis. It will be produced by Statham's new production company. Punch Palace Productions и MadRiver Pictures Bhutan stamp.

Filming is scheduled to begin in September this year.
Mark Dacascos will play Josh Tessier in “Sheriff”
Martial arts star Mark Dacascos, together with Tom Berenger (Platoon, Training Day) and Milo Gibson (Hacksaw Ridge) in the upcoming action movie Josh Tessier entitled "Sheriff” (The Sheriff).
The film, written by Tessier and Michael Edwards, is set in a rural town and follows a local sheriff who is investigating a recent murder case related to the death of his son five years earlier.
In "Sheriff” are also removed Henning Baum, Sol Rodriguezand Patrick Cage.
Film produced Whiskey Panda Studios/Scatena & Rosner, is currently in production in Los Angeles. There are no dates.
