Wu Xia's film wins three awards at Golden Horse Awards

At the 48th Awards Golden Horse Awards film Peter Chan “Wu Xia” won in 3 categories: “best visual effects”, “Best Art Direction” и “best fight choreography”.

Awarded for Best Visual Effects Yun Kwok Yin (Yung Kwok Yin) and Andy Kahn (Andy Kang), for best art direction - Yi Chun Man (Yee Chung Man) and Sun Li (Sun Li), and the award for best fight choreography went, naturally, to Donnie Yen.

Another award (for lifetime achievement) was given posthumously to a Taiwanese director named Ting Shan-Hsi (Ting Shan-Hsi), who died at the end of November 2009 at the age of 74 years. Among his films we can highlight "Rebel Boxer" aka "Bloody Struggle", "Furious Slaughter" и “The Beheaded 1000”. Starred in all three Jimmy Wang Yu, who took part in the award ceremony.
