Andrew Koji in "Ghost of Tsushima", a remake of "Plan B", new projects by Chad Stahelski and David Leitch

Мы already wrote about the fact that the director of quadrology "John Wick" provided the opportunity to film a popular video game "Ghost of Tsushima". Chad Stahelski has already puzzled the studio with the desire to make a movie as authentic as possible - in Japanese with English subtitles. And while studio bosses are wondering how profitable it will be, many are wondering who could play the main role in this samurai action film.

The star of the series also thought about this "Warrior" - Andrew Koji. He wrote on his social networks that he was applying for the role of the main protagonist.

- I'm coming for the "Ghost of Tsushima"! That's what I'm going to do. And with pleasure. I think I can play Jin Sakai really well. I can bring my own vision of the character. I had already played through [the game] twice and was thinking that [a film adaptation] was on the horizon. Everyone was talking about it. And [the film] should happen because the acting is very good. Let it exist on its own, and the film will be independent.

We think Koji would actually look good as a surviving samurai fighting the Mongols. What do you think?

Colleague Chad Stahelski in stuntman craft, companies 87 Eleven Entertainment and on the first "John Wick" - David Leitch also acquired a new directorial project.

We will talk about the film adaptation of the publishing house's comic book Dark Horse under a simple name Bang!. Leitch should make a film for a streaming service Netflix, with whom David had already worked as a producer on an action film "Kate" (2021)

The action film will be based on the author's comic book series Matt Kindt ("Ninjak vs. Valiant Universe") and artist Wilfredo Torres (“Captain Kid”) and will tell the story of a famous spy who is sent to track down and eliminate the author of famous novels, who is actually the leader of a mysterious cult that longs for the onset of the apocalypse.

It is already known who got the main role - a Hollywood actor Idris Elba (“Prometheus”, “Suicide Squad: Mission Beast”, “The Beast”), with whom Leitch has already worked together on an action film "Fast and Furious: Hobbs and Shaw" (2019)

If you have been visiting our site for a long time and are generally interested in independent action films, then you know the guys from the former stunt team from Germany Real Deal Action. Now they are prominent stuntmen and directors working in Hollywood, but they once made short films and then feature films.

For one of them, namely an action comedy "Plan B: Nafik Plan A" (2016) announced a remake, which will be produced by not just anyone, but Braden Aftergood ("Nobody"), Sylvester Stallone и Kan Aydin, responsible for the original film. The project will be filmed by the studio Amazon Studios for later display on Amazon Prime.

Let's remember that the original film told the story of four friends who end up in a story with real crime, thinking that they came to an audition.

The American remake, called "Plan b" follows three stuntmen who accidentally find themselves at a crime scene and are then forced to use their skills to save their lives.

It is unlikely that they will be invited to the main roles Cha-Li Yuna, Fong Zhang и Kana Aydina, who played leading action roles in the 2016 film. But the project is potentially interesting to our brother. By the way, you can speculate in the comments who could play in the future comedy.

Well, if for some reason you suddenly didn’t watch "Plan B: Screw Plan A", we recommend filling this gap. Here's the trailer for the original.
