Donnie Yen wouldn't mind starring in Ip Man 3

Recently Donnie Yen gave an interview Christy Lou Stout for the program "Talk Asia" on channel CNN, talking about his path to success, the changes action films have undergone over the years, and the possibility that the film “Ip Man 3” (Ip Man 3) will still see the light of day. Ian noted that his family was his support and motivation. The program will air simultaneously in Hong Kong, Singapore and Taipei.

Donnie YenHaving made his film debut at the age of 19, he starred in more than 50 films. The 48-year-old actor has since become one of the biggest stars in the Asian film industry, with his performance in “Ip Mane”. Donnie analyzed the success of the film.

Decades ago, when we watched Bruce Lee action films, they were focused on demonstrating masculinity. But lately, as a rule, the emphasis has been on calmer people who put family first. He (Im Man) had a very reserved personality, which I think attracted many female viewers. Thanks to this, the film turned out to be extremely successful and surpassed the kung fu action films of previous years.

About “Ip Man 3” Ian said:

I'll spend the next two years experimenting with different characters every chance I get, and then maybe look into doing Ip Man 3.

Donnie Yen From the age of 4 he studied martial arts under the guidance of his mother, but at the moment he does not teach his children. But when he notices in his 4-year-old eldest son James craving for martial arts, he cannot hide his joy.

James can swing his fists and legs all day long, I don't know where he learned that from. He doesn't watch my films, but he has a natural talent in this regard. He can kick like he's been studying martial arts since birth.

To spend more time with your family Ian I decided not to act in any film for six months. He only recently returned to work, but his schedule is already jam-packed.

I want to thank all the directors and investors who have given me so many opportunities, but due to the tight schedule, I have to make sacrifices. For example, now it is already full until the end of next year.

In my time Donnie Yen starred and worked as a production director in many Hollywood films. He said that in Hollywood he choreographed fights and then the directors and cameramen set up camera angles, but he wasn't particularly enthusiastic about it. In Hong Kong, a stunt/fight coordinator would also work as a production director. He would have complete control and could coordinate with his team and position the cameras to achieve the best results.

Yes, they filmed the second Ip Man... I love the films Wilson Ip + Donnie, but the second Ip Man is terrible.

I would like that if they take on Ip Man 3, it would be with Wilson Ip. I like his work and visions of such films.

Dada, and so that only Sammo would be the fight choreographer.

It's a shame that Donnie won't be in The Expendables 2.
