"Choi Lei Fut: True Master" intended to be a historical martial arts series for a Chinese cable network CCTV. The first “pilot” episode was filmed by the director and former stuntman Ke Zhou (Ke Zhou) between September and October 2010. The main roles in it were played by Shi Hongbo (Shi Hongbo) Cheng Ni (Cheng Ni) Mai Jintong (Mai Jintong) and Shi Tianlong (Shi Tianlong). Its premiere was supposed to take place in the spring of 2011, and if there was a positive reaction from viewers/critics/investors, filming of new episodes would begin, but, unfortunately, this did not happen...

Interesting Facts:
- Shi Tianlong was previously known as Dragon Sek and was one of the many “clones” of Bruce Lee. For the first time in his career, he played a negative character.
- In the scene with the death of the horse, the creators refused to use sleeping pills. In the end, they simply gave the horse alcohol, and it pretended to be dead without any problems, which greatly amused the journalists.
- the series could not do without foreigners. Actors from the USA, Canada, Great Britain, as well as from Russia and Ukraine starred there.
