Cha-Li Yoon in "Skyline 3", Daniel Bernhard in "MR-9" and Mark Dacascos in "One Night in Bangkok"

Martial arts practitioner, stuntman, actor and member of a creative association Real Deal Action - Cha-Li Yoon will take part in a Hollywood science fiction film Skylines, which is the third part of the series about the alien invasion of our world.

Exactly at "Skyline 2" the director drew attention to the element of hand-to-hand combat, for which Indonesian stars were responsible Iko Uwais и Yayan Ruhian. The plot will tell about the character of the previous film - Captain Rose Corley (Lindsey Morgan), who is a gifted person from birth and a support in the struggle of earthlings against aggressive aliens. As fate would have it, she encounters human-alien hybrids who are trying to capture Corley because of her unique blood.

It is interesting that in addition to Cha-Li Yuna (“Plan B: Screw Plan A”) the 90s action star took part in the film Daniel Bernhard ("John Wick"). Creators "Skyline 3" the hand-to-hand action is said to focus on these two. It is also important that the coordinator of the battle scenes here is Yun’s teammate RDA - Kan Aydin ("On the ropes").

Shooting "Skyline 3" completed this summer, and the premiere should take place somewhere closer to the end of 2020. For a German of Korean descent Cha-Li Yuna participation in such a significant project is a significant step forward in his career. He had shone in Hollywood before, but only as a stuntman, having worked on such films as "xXx: World Domination", "Fast and Furious: Hobbs and Shaw" and Netflix series "Marco Polo".

Unfortunately, there are still no details about the film. "The Last Savage", about which O’Donnell “hinted” not long ago. The film was supposed to be a kind of declaration of love for the Indonesian martial art of Pencak Silat.

Let's not stray far from our respected Daniel Bernhard (TV series "Mortal Kombat: Conquest", "The Matrix Reloaded", "Atomic Blonde"), since the hero of hand-to-hand action films of the 90s was signed for a supporting role in a spy action film MR-9.

The producer, screenwriter and director are responsible for the project Asif Akbar, which may be known to visitors to our site as a fantastic action movie "Astro" with another aging action movie star Gary Daniels in a leading role.

Akbar's new film is based on the first book titled "Mountain of Destruction" famous spy novel series "MR-9" Author Kuazi Anwar Hussain.

MR-9 is the code name of Masud Rana, who has been serving Bangladesh as a super-spy for many years. His adventures will be discussed in the film.

The main role in the film will be played by ABC Sumon (“Unknown Love”), and in addition to Bernhard, he is accompanied by: Mickey Rourke ("The Expendables", "The Wrestler"), Michael Pare ("Streets on Fire", "Virgin Suicides"), Gabriella Wright ("Transporter: Legacy") and former wrestler Dalip Singh (TV series "Runaway Work").

At the moment, the film is at the pre-production stage and the filmmakers have not yet announced a release date. But we will keep our finger on the pulse.

Our editors are incredibly pleased with the fact that the iconic action movie actor Mark Dacascos over the past couple of years I have returned to activity, for which, as they say, I am not ashamed. Leaving behind collaborations with Alexander Nevsky, as well as long-term unfinished construction "Final Judgment", Mark played a significant role in a big-budget Hollywood project "John Wick 3", voiced one of the main characters in the cartoon "Monster Island" and took part in the Netflix series "Wu Assassins".

January 16 2020 years the Russian premiere of the crime thriller will take place "Happy day" (our distributors translated the title as "Killer on Call"), where Dacascos appeared in a small but bright role, and very soon a zombie action movie will be released on DVD "Driver", where Mark has a full-fledged leading role for the first time in a long time.

And while we hope that the career of 55-year-old Dacascos will continue to take off, another project has become known. We are talking about the upcoming detective thriller "One night in Bangkok" (One Night in Bangkok) directed by Vicha Kaosayanada ("Ex vs. Siver", "Tekken 2"), with whom Mark worked on the film "Driver".

According to the FCS, "One night in Bangkok" is described as an action film with a crime and noir setting. The prototype of the Kaosayanada film is called a thriller "Partner in crime" (2004) starring Tom Cruise.

It is known that Dacascos again has the main role, and his on-screen duet will be a well-known action movie actor Kane Kosugi ("Tekken 2", "Zero Tolerance").

Let us remind you that Kosugi and Kaosayanada have been brewing a separate project for a long time called "Max", but there are no details about it yet.

Actually, this is where the information about the film ends. "One night in Bangkok". One thing we know for sure: the film has already been shot and is in the post-production stage. The release will take place approximately in the second decade of 2020. All we have to do is wait for the trailer and place our expectations on old Mark.
