During the five days of celebration of the next anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the film Chin Xiu Tan “The Sorcerer and the White Snake” (The Sorcerer And The White Snake) with Jet Li и Eva Huang simply bewitched the audience and its box office receipts amounted to 12 million dollars (76,2 million yuan).
Second place went to the fantasy action comedy film Gordon Chan “Mural” с Dan Chao, Betty Sun, Andy Onom и Collin Chow. After four days of theatrical release, the film managed to collect $9,1 million (57,9 million yuan).
