By the way, episode 2 ended on a good note. The little guy came. He wanted to beat people he didn't like. Yip said, come back when you grow up. This topic could be developed in the third episode. By collecting material about the difficult character of Bruce in his relationship with Ip Man, you can make an interesting movie!

    Yuen Wuping.. wrong choice.

The first part is sheer splendor, the second is sheer disappointment. I’m waiting for the third, but since Wun Ping will be the fight choreographer in the third part, then the threequel can definitely be scrapped (I’ll watch it only out of respect for Donny and the first part).

    - Well, you’ve finally given up on Wu Ping Ye. Maybe it's not all so bad?
Although my personal opinion is that it is necessary to bring in “fresh blood” from choreographers.

I especially “like” the inscription on the Coming soon poster - yeah, sung, end of 2015...

Information has emerged that the fight choreographer will be Yuen Wuping.

So, this is the name of a Korean producer everyone knows. ;)

The second part may be worse, but it’s still interesting to watch. And Donnie somehow looks different than I usually see him. I'll wait for the third one, great news :)

Good news, and I agree with my colleagues, the second part was not as strong as expected. Boxer is boring, Sammo is superfluous (with his shape and age) and the story itself was boring. In general, as I have already said more than once, the audience is ready to forgive both the crazy plot and crazy humor - the main thing is that they give us a good quality fighting game and any special effects are nothing more than an addition.

Well, or replace it with the suggested phrase: something-that-cannot-be-written-in-a-comment. Or in the word strobe, for example)) Sasha Gray at the strobe film festival.

What a porn-hating site. This is how I remember all sorts of stories from the bash about how ordinary words whose roots coincide with swear words are banned. And at the same time, how easy it is for such antispam filters to work.

ABOUT! The simplest replacement - and the comment did not end up in spam :)
Personally, after I became convinced that antispam based on a blacklist of words a) often harms, b) is easy to bypass, I stopped using it altogether. Better than captcha, akismet, comments on registration in the end.

Something else is being used. Spam words in the engine are only to protect against human spammers, and not against bots.

I understood this right away, I just forgot. I quickly remade it. However, my memory is failing me, that’s why I just quoted you and the comment was also banned))) That’s why I’m writing this for the second time.

The site didn't like the word "undoubtedly", sorry. ;)

*Remembers the final battle in SPL*

The director of which was Donnie Yen, who basically fought with Hungg's stunt double.

That's it, I must admit honestly that after the golden period Sammo did practically nothing worthwhile. As a person who can share his experience (he undoubtedly has enormous experience), Sammo is a very necessary and very respected person. But it's unlikely he'll do anything interesting now. It will be something that we have seen from him (and many others) a hundred times.

Sammo's hand... Jaidev, with all my respect and love for Sammo, there is no need to overestimate him. She, his hand, could have saved him if Sammo had said: change the script, remove Twister, stop flying on wires. But he never would have said that.

But it’s true... At one time he staged good fights. Even in SHANGHAI SHANGHAI, paired with an opponent Yuen Biao, they sometimes flew on ropes, but how was it all done. And the editing angles were razor-sharp!
Apparently his filmography has an effect. His paintings are visible and invisible. Back in the 70s, wow there was so much. So I squandered all my energy piece by piece, finally investing myself in the “Golden Period” of the 80s.

NOT to say that the second IP MAN was completely bad, but somehow it is far from the first film. In every way. starting from dramaturgy, ending with all technical and gaming aspects. Indeed, many different people watched it and, first of all, everyone “lived” the story, which touched the heart. The fragments from the rice during the occupation are very strong and dramatic. Like comic ones... It was correctly noted above - mom tells you to go on the attack. Otherwise you will kill everyone here. On the verge. Class!
Oddly enough, even Sammo's hand did not help the second part. I only watched it once and won't watch it again. And I will definitely look at the first pages more than once.
As for the third episode... it’s unlikely that it needs to be filmed. There are a lot of adventure, interesting books in the world that deserve to be filmed, rather than being slapped with insensitive “remixes of remakes.”

The first film is generally a good film. Non-genre. I watched it with different people, and everyone found something for themselves in it. The girls pondered the fate of Ip Man's family, his relationship with his wife, some over historical truth or fiction, others enjoyed the aesthetics of old China, and there were those, of course, who peered into the fights.

In the first part, I was simply torn by the scene with my son riding a tricycle during the fight between Donnie and Louis. Great humor.

And for making Shahlavi a boxer, it wouldn’t hurt to soap someone’s neck.

Not only is Shahlavi a boxer, but also an extremely stupid, cardboard character. The Japanese in the first part did not look such crap. Yes, it’s not just about Shahlavi, in general, the whole film is like this... ideological zombification of Chinese schoolchildren. Ip Man himself was made somehow empty, the whole meaning of the character was distorted. Donnie hardly plays there, the whole film walks around with a face made of concrete and destroys everything like Steven Seagal. I was very disappointed.

Like this? “Ip Man 2,” in every sense, was great and, in my opinion, even better than the first part.

And here it is: terrible, cliched, it was a collection of all the Chinese-Hollywood cranberries that you can remember. I’m not even talking about the weakest action. The character is a parody of Ip Man from the first part.

Better than the first part? I'm at a loss.

I don’t even know what to expect. Ip Man 2 was terrible IMHO. “Ip Man: Birth of a Legend”, even without Donny, turned out better.

Cool news. I didn’t like all these ipman films without Donnie Yen.
