Bren Foster born November 2, 1976 in London, England. His father was of Anglo-Irish descent and his mother was of Cypriot descent. When he was 3 years old, the family moved to Australia. He began studying martial arts at the age of 6, when his mother enrolled him in karate. After training for 2 years, he became interested in hapkido under the influence of the rapidly growing kickboxing at that time, popularized by Benny Urkides и Bill Wallace.
